PS1 Cover Thread

Yeah, that's something I want to do and plan to do, but I have I find out HOW, per se. The boot wasn't on the original cover, so I'm going to try and make one. I won't be home for a couple days, but before I left I started wrapping around the spine what I could.

Updates on my future plans: I am going to start on a Spyro the Dragon cover and a Star Ocean 2 cover this week, but I'm not sure if I'm going to finish those or finish the others in progress first. I want to change up the PE2 cover just a bit and maybe make the backside more like the PAL backside, rather than the US version. I also want to alter the DDR case slightly, just to remove some dead space. I will find at least one new screenshot for MMX5 and possibly replace the ones already on there with some better looking ones. They were from a PAL scan I downloaded, and everything but the screenhots looks fine. Something to think about.

Okay, I fixed the MM8 covers, making a boot for Megaman and wrapping it around the spine, I fixed the DDR cover, AND I fixed the MMX5 covers as well. I'm still including the cover with the Megaman X Collection image because it looks cool, but the original with X and Zero only is preferred. Also included are the Star Ocean 2nd Story cover and Spyro the Dragon covers. w00t. Since my Photobucket account was overflooded, I will mainly just post links, but I will try to add in the photobucket photos of the previews as well. Sorry bout that. They really don't look too much different from the versions I posted last time, just with a few fixes really. Again, thanks for any input. I am new at this, ya know.

I think I'm done with the PS1 case scene. I might do more if I feel like it, but that covers the games that I personally own. the7k, I had instadrool when my eyes were laid on your MegaMan set. VERY nice.

the7k: Those Legends covers are fantastic! Makes me want to track them down even more now!

Why is Roll on the first spine, while Mega Man is on the second, though? It's hardly a big deal, and I could easily change it myself if need be, but it just seems like a strange design decision.

Matrix: Those small adjustments make the Mega Man covers look much, much better. The Star Ocean 2 covers look pretty nice as well.

As for Roll being on the first one... it was just a preference. With the pictures I was using, Roll was just slightly smaller than Mega Man, and Mega Man was just slightly smaller than Tron - so I thought it would just satisfy the 'getting bigger as you go along' deal.

Of course, if you lined them up chronologically, then Tron would actually go in the middle...

Yo, I'm thinking I might change up the Legend of Dragoon and Megaman x5 covers a bit. I want to try and put the original cover art (of Dart, Sheena, and Rose) on the front (I think I know how to do it too without stretching anything out) and I have realized that my MMX5 scan for the front was a lower quality scan that I had (forgot where I had put the new one), PLUS I have another new art piece that would look AWESOME on the front. But this is just thought. Sound good? It'll be awhile before I get around to it, tho.
