Hell if I know. I use whatever software came with my scanner -- what's your model? Maybe you can try that.

will the scan at

http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/raw/phiberosmosis.retail.raw_3do_croc2front_au.jpg

work?
(Edited link to work)

No -- it still doesn't have the descreen effect, and on top of that, it's only 200dpi. Minimum is 300.

Qustions:
1. What model scanner do you have?

2. What software are you using to scan it? (software that came with the scanner or something else?)

3. After you scanned it, did you just upload the raw scan or did you use any type of software to convert/resize/rename the scan before uploading it?
(The reason I ask is some software resizes to 200 dpi automatically when you save the file)

I am using a HP 350 Deskjet all in one. I was scanning with Picasa but then used the HP software. I scanned and saved then uploaded it

When I look up the deskjet 350 all I can find info on is a portable color printer w/o a scanner.

Well, looking over the specs for that scanner, its better than mine. I don't know what scanning software came with yours. I have an HP scanner (stand alone) and it came with a program call HP Director. This software defaults to 200dpi every time you use it, so I have to change it to 300dpi or 600dpi whenever I scan things.

You should be able to scan covers with no problems with that scanner.

First, allow me to express how much I love that Final Fantasy set. Someone requested it a couple pages back, but I'd also like to see the other games in the series get matching cases, especially Tactics, FFX, & FFXII. And while it has nothing to do with the PSone, I wouldn't mind having an FF3 DS case with the same style as well. I've known about this project for a long time, and any time I pick up a game at Gamestop without a cover I always come get it, but that Final Fantasy set threw me into a near-obsession with custom covers. I bought 4 disc DVD cases just to justify printing the FF9 cover.

So now that I've been caught up in this great stuff, I've decided to case all of my games, DVD sized first. Unfortunately, I found a game you all didn't have. So I made it myself, and I'll upload it in a few minutes. It's for Threads of Fate, and I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.
