Shenske, those covers are AMAZING! Two things though. You're not entirely done, at least I hope you won't be. You should do covers for Tactics, and Vagrant Story (seeing as they're both in the world of FFXII) And if you want to get real FF crazy, do Ehrgeiz, and matching PS2 covers for X, X-2, XI, XII and FFVII DoC. And second, the cover for FFVII seems kinda odd being that the logo you used is the one for Advent Children. Just some ideas. ;) |

Just keep in mind that shenske has other priorities as well, and isn't even a fan of the FF series. The set does look great together though :) |

Yeah, I realize that now after reading back some pages. Well, they are really great covers, and if he would want to provide .psd files so maybe someone else could continue them, maybe that would be better. Edit: Anyways, to stop the spamming of the thread with chatter, I thought I should be the first to contribute on this page. ;) I made covers for Pandemonium 1 and 2 using the template from this site. If anyone is interested enough, let me know, and I'll whip out vertical versions as well, even though I figured they don't fit as good, and I'd have to blow up the main images even more. Here's 1 http://www.mediafire.com/?5zmninfzyxm Here's 2 http://www.mediafire.com/?jyzzjntzzyx Here's Previews: I can't seem to upload them to the main site, being this is my first contribution, I have no idea what to do, so I figure I'll just post them in this thread for now lol. |

I haven't looked at the images, but keep in mind that taking a low resolution image and stretching it to DVD size and calling it a day won't meet The Cover Project standards. Since I haven't looked at your covers, I don't know if that's the case with yours, so don't take it the wrong way. In the sidebar on the <-left, under "Links", click "Upload a Cover". Where it says "Cover" click browse, and locate the file (saved in .jpg, and properly formatted) and press OK. Where it says "Author" type (or copy+paste) your user name. Next to country, locate the country the cover is for. For "platform", select the system the cover is for. Check "this is a raw scan" if your upload is a straight scan, final covers are NOT raw scans. If your cover is a custom cover (which all PS1 DVD covers besides the official SONY METAL GEAR SOLID covers and a few others are), then check that box. |

I already made a tactics cover. The tactics logo is horizantal art so i looks horrible in a vertical canvas. Either art gets chopped off or you get a lot of empty black space. I don't like the idea of making a Vagrant story cover themed in the Final fantasy 20th Style or in fact making offshoots themed that way either. Same goes for Ehrgeiz No PS2, all PS2 FF have horzantal logos, same explanation as above --- Quote from: slackbabbath on December 17, 2008, 02:15:16 PM ---And second, the cover for FFVII seems kinda odd being that the logo you used is the one for Advent Children. --- End quote --- The original FFVII comet does not have much detail to it and is illegible to what it even is when blown up As symptomsofmercy said, i really don't like FF in the first place :-\ Overall, Sorry to dissappoint |
