I was bored and ended up making some alternate front covers for my SH cases:





can't do SH1 right now as all of the images I used are on my old laptop HDD. I'll get to it once I can get the images again though.

Feedback is welcome.

added SH1. These all have a different "feel" than the other ones, so they'll be uploaded separately as an alternative for those who don't like the more minimal look of my old covers for these.

Yeah, I was thinking these seemed a bit bland in comparison. I mostly did this out of boredom, probably won't even upload these. If anyone really wants them, they can PM me I suppose.

I thought that I would start working on some new covers, but I need some advice from you folks.  My plan is to start making DVD covers for Japanese Playstation RPGs, but I'm running into some issues finding decent scans.  As a test case, I tried cleaning up some lower res scans with Vector Magic to see if they were usable.



I think that it worked out pretty well, but I'm not sure about the screenshots on the back cover.  Do you guys think that the quality is decent enough?

Well. I at least know there would be interest in alternates!

Okay then, I guess I might upload them after all. I want to wait until vt102 gets done adding all those new covers first though.

Ok.. I added all of Grumbleduke's PS1 covers and the Silent Hill covers too.

I also added my PS1 covers that were pending (lunar, arc etc... etc..)

after seeing my SH covers again once Vt102 added them I can definitely see what Doom meant. I know I've already flipped several times but I've decided permanently that I'm not going to upload the alternates to the site. Instead, I'll upload them elsewhere and give a link in my sig. The reason why is that I've been playing with a lot of alternate ideas, etc, and don't want to bother the admins with extra covers when they could be handling my more important uploads, such as my GCN Resident Evil covers once they're finished.

Well with Silent Hill being a horror game (that I haven't played) I just think the originals are more of ominous.

I like the Chrono Cross covers you made, Vt102. Do you think you could make a vertical version of the second one? I need it for my collection.

I'd like the PS banner on the side not the top.

Final Fantasy IX. A cover for disc 1-2 and a cover for discs 3-4
I need it like this because I can only fit 2 discs in one DVD case D:.
