As I expected. Those were the best pics I could conjure, unfortunately. If anyone has better images( both front and back) I would be more than happy to make a 300DPI DVD cover... NTSC of course.

Looks much better.

Front looks bit bad.
Playstation scans have tendensy to come out bad (I mean looking grainy), so don't know can it be bettered.
Maybe some Photoshop wizard can try to better the front image to look less pointy..

Will it pass, I don't know.
Playstation stuff is tricky.

Big thank you.

Which is better? Last Time Ill ask. I really just want to make sure it looks as good as possible before submitting. I don't have photoshop otherwise i'd fix it further.

I prefer the original, the second looks even grainier (and darker).

Could some Photoshop wizard voice in and tell if they hasve any suggestion to lessn the grainyness without too much detail loss, or voice in to tell that nothing else can probably be done.

Like Isaid PS stuff is tough as any scan looks bad.

I had the same problem with my scans Matty, I thought everyone was crazy OCD until i got my new scanner and can see the insane difference decreen or moire removal can be when scanning. Are you using an HP scanner? Having these options makes working with the images considerably easier* Edited to clarify HP wasnt the good part making it easy :)

A bit of selective surface blur on the worst affected areas on the front would help a lot (the cars specifically),  but most of the text on the back seems to need restyling too -especially the small stuff

Or Canon (even cheap ones), avoid Epsons (at  least the cheap ones)

Thanks for all your replies. I'll just submit the original and see what happens. To answer your questions, I own a Brother MFC-615J 3 in 1. It was the best price with the best print quality i could get at the time. It's also 4 years old.

Thank you again everyone for your suggestions.

May I post some covers I've made using your templates?
