....though none of the covers on the site are made to fit PS3 cases...it seems, but BD sized ones...I could be wrong.

I think you're right, but the converion should be easy.

Just have to make wider spine, rest is simple COPY + PASTE.

it seems that bluray cases and ps3 cases are the same size in uk, only difference is ps3 cases contain PLAYSTATION 3 on the case depending on the age.

anyways i designed the cases with the intent of space saving in mind and thought that it would be easy to find a folder of some sort that you could store the manuals in but i havn't found any yet

Nope, UK too has the blue blue-ray movie cases that are bit narrower than the clear Playstation 3 blue-ray cases.
Height ang width are the same.

same post as in the ps2 cover thread, but this time with a ps1 cover
i couldnt find a large insomniac games original logo, but something tells me that some ps1 cases are gonna be a pain to convert since some of the covers i tried converting got covered by all the specs

I do like the idea, but there lie problems with using PS3 style cases.

1) They are not readily available like DVD or Poly Cases
2) Multiple Discs can not be held in a PS3 case

there is a solution if you want to make uniform cases from PS1 to PS3, and that would be DVD sized covers.

for the second problem, the multiple disc games could be resized to fit bluray cases, and the ones that come with the 2blurays,dvd and digital copy could be used to house them (i can only think of a couple 4 disc games and i cant think of any that used 5 or higher

Maybe my not perfect English but: Resize WHAT?  ???

Not 100% sure but Myst might have been the only game that came on 5 discs.'

Besides you can store the discs 2+ in papersleeves inside the case. I know not perfect but OK.

I'm actually digging the ps1 in ps3 cases as i'm current in the process of transferring my DVD movies to Blu ray cases, I just like the colour and style better.

what i meant to say is , the case could be designed for ps3 case dimensions then resized to the bluray case dimensions if it makes it any more clear (fyi i think i woke up 10 maybe 15 minutes prior to typing that message with 3 hours sleep lol)

That would not solve the problem as blueray cases are more narrow than PS3 cases.

must be an american cases thing
i tried putting a ps3 cover in a br case and a br cover in a ps3 case, both fit fine but what confused me was the ps3 cover fit more perfect in the br case than in the original ps3 case

If you make a vertical version of that Legend of Legaia cover, I will love you forever. Well not in THAT way, but you get the idea.

That would totally cut-off Gaia's face, and theres absolutely no room for image stretching.

Again, I suggest using our PS1 template. For one, well actually host your covers if their up to quality. And for two, I dont think anyone would be too interested in printing out covers that arent going to match up with all the PS1 covers they already have printed out made with our template. Were consistence freaks around here.

I understand, but I tried using the PS1 template & it nearly crashed my computer. It may have to do with the fact that I use Paint.NET & not Photoshop. I find that the template is unnecessary anyway. I took a cover from this site & used it as a base for all of mine.

Also, the picture shown here is only a preview & was re-sized by Photobucket. The Mediafire link has the proper dimensions & dpi.
