I'd say they're pretty collectible, just because there weren't that many of them and it's entirely possible to get a complete set. |

US Saturn and US Sega CD cases are damaged sooooo often and are almost impossible to replace! I don't like the DVD case way either because I want my manuals together with my games. 3DO longboxes are the most ugly game packaging I ever came across. Huge, easily damaged often with a kind of strange closing mechnism and with really big manuals too. They're a horror to store. |

The fact that they're so easily damaged and difficult to replace is what makes them MORE valuable really. I'm going with DVDs for Sega CD and Saturn games just because of how easily damaged the jewel boxes are, I'm keeping the original cases put up. |
