and if it is possible, I love this wildarms cover http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=1252  but all my cases have the horizontal playstation not the vertical, is it possible to flip it?

I see some floating around here and there in 3d models, and either they are never uploaded or were removed or something I just never can seem to find them :(

aw man, i dont have the computer i did the wild arms covers on... so i dont have any of the .psd files, so i cant flip it easily,

i did all 5 or 6 games in that style a while back and lost all the originals, i also did one for suikoden and a few others that i never posted (20 something dynasty warriors covers all with matching spines.. looks epic)

huge tragedy when that sucker kicked the bucket.

on a happier note if i have the time im planing a Vangard bandits cover  ( ill do horizontal)  Sick game BTW

In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.

Heres another. Picked this up today. Probably wont keep it since I dont care for the type of RPG's this thing makes, but I knew the site didnt have a cover for it yet. And for only $8, I could easily sell it to my cousin for at least $10.

Quick (off topic-ish) question. In the U.S, are PS longboxes more sought after/collectible than jewel cases where both exist(Resi for instance) or not?

I couldnt say, but Id imagine the longboxes would be considered less valuable. I can certainly say if I had the choice between the two, Id definetly take a jewel case over one of those horrible longboxes anyway! Plus from a collecting standpoint, their ugly as shit! ;)

I quite agree. Thay sit right away in the top corner of my shelving along with the Sega CD/Mega CD (90% of the PAL MCD games are in double jewel cases...also ugly) EA Saturn games (they had to be different..big and horrible)and the humungous 3DO longboxes (another 90% stat here).

I'd say they're pretty collectible, just because there weren't that many of them and it's entirely possible to get a complete set.

I agree too. US Saturn and US Sega CD cases are damaged sooooo often and are almost impossible to replace! I don't like the DVD case way either because I want my manuals together with my games.

3DO longboxes are the most ugly game packaging I ever came across. Huge, easily damaged often with a kind of strange closing mechnism and with really big manuals too. They're a horror to store.

The fact that they're so easily damaged and difficult to replace is what makes them MORE valuable really.

I'm going with DVDs for Sega CD and Saturn games just because of how easily damaged the jewel boxes are, I'm keeping the original cases put up.
