Game room, the AVGN

Hello. today i saw this video about a collector called "the angry video game nerd". he is a "retro video game reviewer", and talks realy bad about almost any game (just as a joke, nos serious). anyway, i saw a video where he shows his game room and explains how he manages it and shows some of his consoles and games. i felt like sharing it to you since this site is full of collectors.

AVGN has been around for years , been a fan since his ghostbusters video (seeing as this was my first game for NES, i completely agreed)

His NES collection is almost complete and he overall has a ton of stuff.

Think I have seen the video your talking about, but may want to post a link anyways

He needs to invest in one of those SD card work arounds for his C64, I have a feeling that the reason why his experience with the c64 has been so bad is because the discs are going bad. I have one and it works beautifully.

While his collection is impressive to say the least, it feels so cluttered. I know he has it organized, but it doesn't look very organized to me.

The impressive nature of his collection is what makes it feel cluttered.  And he has tons of video-game accessories and consoles scattered around which breaks up the uniformity a bit.  The video also shows many times when he has some games CIB, some not.  Plus, he doesn't use any custom cases like us, so the differences in cartridge types, boxes, etc. is much more pronounced.

Obviously the video has a lot of cuts, but you can tell that when he goes to reach for something he knows where to find it.  It's his basement and his system, guess it works .
