Mick Dundee:

If they would have just made an OPTION to use a retro pad I would have played and beaten the game already....instead it sits in its opened box with the controller as part of the collection.

I wish i could give some honest input on the actual game play....but coming home from work and swinging my arms around like I'm being attacked by bees isn't very appealing.

If you haven't gotten it yet, get it used from Gamestop and give it a try...if you like it, good, keep it.  If you don't like it bring it back within 7 days for a full refund.

I don't know why you feel the need to go that far. I can comfortably play with small swipes. Sure, if I get into it, I'll use broader strokes, but unless I need to point at the screen, my arm doesn't do nearly as much moving as you imply. Maybe I just got used to it really quick though.

I couldn't get Link to do what I wanted without having to obnoxiously swing the stupid wiimote.  I couldn't find a way to lay back and play it  >:(

Maben:

I had no real problems getting into it.  However, I did have the same obnoxiously long time with the first Ghirahim fight, before I finally understood the mechanic.  My arm started to hurt from flapping it around every time he grabbed the tip of my sword.  I grew increasingly frustrated until I finally realized that they were using the directional sword swing as a very key mechanic.

Wiggy: Every time you post I hope the little pug will catch his friend but he never does :(
