| DarrienEmerald:
As I'm going to be moving into a custom built house over the next several months, I've been working on an overall design for my game/bedroom. Most recently, I've been working on the setup of a custom entertainment center. For this, I've been trying to look up the physical dimensions for the various systems I either have (on me or in storage) and will be picking up. But for whatever reason this doesn't seem well documented anywhere. I figured I'd post what I've found here, and then see if anyone could help me fill in the gaps. Also, my measuring system seems to work pretty different than most of what I did find: I look at the system straight down from the top. In this way, height would be the y-axis, width the x-axis, and depth the z-axis (what most people consider height... which kinda makes sense I guess). Format is HxWxD Nintendo Entertainment System (NES-101): 153x178x39mm Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES-100): 242x199x72mm Nintendo 64: 190x260x73mm Nintendo Gamecube: 149x193x112mm Nintendo Wii (standing): 215x44x160mm SEGA Genesis (model 1): 204x280x56mm SEGA CD (model 2 with expansion to hold model 1 GEN): ? SEGA Saturn: 230x260x83mm SEGA Dreamcast: 196x189x77mm Sony PlayStation (PSone): 144x193x38mm Sony PlayStation 2 (Original): 172x293x70mm Sony PlayStation 2 (Slim): 153x232x30mm Sony PlayStation 3 (Slim): 290x290x65mm Microsoft XBOX: 260x320x100mm Microsoft Xbox 360 (Original): 258x309x83mm Microsoft Xbox 360 (S): 260x270x78mm NeoGeo AES: 237x325x60mm NeoGeo CD: 277x290x100mm NEC TurboDuo: 300x200x70mm Panasonic FZ-10 3DO Interactive Multiplayer: ? Philips CD-i 220: ? The only systems I physically have with me are the slim PS3, the 360S, and the Wii. All the other measurements are found off the net, and may or may not be accurate. If anyone could double check these, or fill in any of the five gaps, it'd be much appreciated. EDIT: Helps out tremendously, thanks Dr.Agon! Can pretty much get everything going with these and just save an extra shelf for the 3DO and CD-i. |
