First Timer

Good day to you people of The Cover Project. I hope this day is treating you well. I am a brand new member and I would like to introduce myself. I am BigBangMonkey, and I have enjoyed many of the cover arts created. I have been aware of this site for at least 6 years and have printed many of the awesome covers that I needed for caseless games. And I hope to be able to join in on the festivities. I have a cover to share with you all. It was my first attempt. I did the best I could with what I have.



Now, I know the front image is very low res, but I think it looks alright. And I know the back of could have use some more detail, but tell me what you think.

Also, as you can see, I did this for the downloadable versions from PSN as you can see. I plan to make some others for more PSone Classic games when time allows.

Well, right now, I only have it in this thread and on my Photobucket account. I have no other place to put it that I can think of.

But other than the low res front and the plain back, what do you guys think of the overall look and idea of PSN PSone Classics case?

Maybe a short description of each game next to each cover (on the back) with maybe a screenshot or 2. And more of a resident evil font for the front for the title. Also a background for the back instead of just black, with some transparency (blk and red?)

Thanks for the critique. I know... that front was bad. I just really likes the look of that picture. When using the pic, I thought of the shattered design as a metaphor for the shattering and reality distorting effect the T-Virus had on Raccoon City and it's citizens. And I'll take your suggestion to the back to heart.   I was also trying for a Special Edition look ti it.

Also, I am sure you noticed and I should have mentioned this was done in MS Paint. I do not Have Photo Shop.

You could always get GIMP. I don't think it's as good as Photoshop, but it's certainly much better than Paint >,<
