Well, that's sort of the tricky part.
I already am Wiggy Design, LLC. So this product would fall under that "brand" by default. The thing that I'm struggling with at the moment is the tree of nameplates/brands. So, it'll either be something like this,
Wiggy Design,
Product Line,
Product Name
Or just
Wiggy Design,
Product Line or Product Name
Either way, I'm not there yet.
Did some research on wireless controller parts. Looks like I can the raw parts for about 20 bucks per controller and that doesn't include a housing for the transceiver that plugs into the console. If I do go forward with wireless controllers, then I'll have a housing made that matches the system shell that I've designed.
So, as far as pricing goes, here's what I have thus far.
SNES mini w/ 1 controller* (if not modding/supplying your own) - ~$50 (using eBay as a measure for average market price)
Extra Controller* - ~$10-15 (again, eBay)
Wireless Mod - probably about $30 per controller depending on how much work it ends up taking
LED Power Indicator Mod - $5-6 depending on color
S-Video Mod - $15-20
Console Shell - ? ? ?
Do these prices seem reasonable? I will also offer package prices, and I'll obviously keep you guys updated about any of that once I have more of my costs sorted out.
*I don't plan on selling the original hardware at any sort of profit. I plan to sell the hardware as close to my original purchase price as possible to those that want me to mod the console for them and aren't supplying their own. So, if the market starts to fizzle, then I'll charge less. If the market picks up, you get the idea.
