i'm not sure why i like it so much - it would definitely stand out on the shelf, but then, that's not really what this is all about. I also love the last one - grey with black sides, and dark grey buttons. Don't really dig the purple buttons, as that's one of the things i dislike about the US SNES in the first place.

Could you mock up a Red System with black buttons / ports? I think black would look better than the grey.

If I have understood this project correctly, you don't have to ship your SNES.
You simply buy the replacement case, open your SNES, take the innards out and put the innards into the new case.

I'd be down for a Kickstarter, this project looks amazing! I have several SNES consoles and a few of them are beat up and tinted yellow, would LOVE to upgrade!
