Physical originals of games or digital re-releases of games?

woo woo woo, you KNOW it
the only two digital games I own are Mega Man 9 and 10 because there was no other choice, but I bought the MM9 press kit and made custom DVD cases for them just to act like I've got a physical copy. digital media can die in a fire

How much did that set you back? (Also...they give you a CD without the game? COME ON CAPCOM!)

I somehow managed to snag one when they went live on their website, so 50 bucks plus whatever shipping was.
Deadpool:
i only download indie games like aquaria, supermeat boy etc, and others from psn (journey, flower) and xbox live arcade (castle crashers, limbo, sine mora)

Wow, a lot of hate for digital games.
While ultimately, it really depends on the game, I would prefer physical copies. Granted, I'm saying this with Castlevania, Super Mario Bros., Sin and Punishment, Mega Man X, and Gunstar Heroes on my Wii, and that's just the VC. I've got WiiWare games, and XLBA games, including Sonic 2. Some games (Mega Man X) are worth having as a digital copy as well, and some games (Castlevania, Sonic 2) are nice to be able to experience without needing to purchase a console (I only recently got an NES, and it's by retrobit. I want to one day own a regular one, but that may never happen. As for Genesis, I don't really care enough to get one.)
So yeah, I prefer physical, but I don't hate on digital.
