Recently ordered some games of gamereproductions.com. While I will admit it can be expensive (star fox 2, ouch) in reality they are cheaper than you would find them from many others and this is all done and shipped directly from you. I understand it takes around a month to get things, which is fine and hoping the everything is as great as many people have reviewed. Also, if you buy 2 or 3 he has special prices to save a bit of money like 2 for 100$ instead of 62.50 each

Oh, for those curious I ordered

Final Fantasy V (SNES)
Star Fox 2 (SNES)
Secret of Mana 2 (SNES)
The Firemen (SNES)

Edit - Just read last post, hopefully I dont get screwed as well lol

Yeah he takes PayPal. I do a lot of box art/manual work over there, kinda why I've been pretty quiet here the last couple months.

awesome, thanks for the tip. I'll head his way then.

Will it be the english translation version?

Yeah it's completely English with box, manual and poster. Like all Timewalk releases.

Been looking into picking up some repros of various translations, but I was curious about something.  I've heard some have problems playing on actual consoles, and considering some of the ones I've been thinking off aren't the most popular, I was wondering if there is some way to check before hand if they would work, or if someone had mad a list.

I know the powerpak/everdrives, but as I prefer physical product, its not really a product I'll ever use, so I'd really rather not want to consider ordering one just for testing to see if things work...

Just email whichever repro maker you want to go with and ask them about the rom you want to use, they'll know if its suitable or not.

Be cautious.   Once I tried to have a Golden Axe 3 Cart made for the genesis.  It plays but has some glitches.

Also Retro USB has Star Ocean back in stock.

I've been thinking about picking up a few NES games from RetroZone. How's the quality and how's the wait time from purchase to delivery?

My stuff came the next week, and quality is very good, all parts are new no donor carts are used. So every thing has a nice factory new shine. The down side is. I dont think they let you use a costom label.

usually takes about a week. I had one experience with him where it took 2.... but basically he had a family emergency the day before I ordered. He updates his twitter, so I knew hed be gone a week... then my stuff came in like 5 days.

currently ordered Super Mario 2 Japanese version (aka lost levels) and VS. Super Mario Brothers. Previously ordered Battle Kid and Nintendo World Championships 1990. The previous games worked fine. Cant complain. They work in My Nes, My toploader Nes and My Generation Nex.

My gf bought me 2 repros for xmas last year, Mr. Gimmick and Kid Dracula. Both great games and work great. I am however on the fence about getting a power pak, however it seems they don't take paypal.

SMB2J and VS SMB are actually the games I'm thinking about getting. I'm curious to see how they turn out when you get them.

I'd be more interested in pics of the inside if you wouldn't mind disassembling your brand new toys. How do the boards look?
