His service sucks but I certainly dont wish for him to go to jail.
I would say go with another repro maker, there are so many better ones out there. The OCDgamer at Nintendoage is waaaay better, I got FF2, FF3 and sweet home from him for a great deal. He is good with getting back to you right away, very friendly, ships out quickly and makes professional looking carts. Definitely planing on doing business with him again in the future.

Well, this site is more gray area since we don't attempt to make any money from what we do. If anything, it would be more of a civil matter than criminal. Even then, it would be REALLY difficult for the plaintiff, whoever they may be, to prove that this site has caused a monetary loss for them. Someone such as an artist who's work we've employed in our covers, or a company that doesn't like our use of their logo, etc.
Covers like mine are even more legally ambiguous. I use logos that I find on the web, art that I create or find on the web, and almost nothing of the original packaging from scans. The barcodes are the ONLY thing that I'm using at this point, and even then, I still have to make 'em from scratch when no scan is available using what UPC data I can find for the title and the appropriate fonts to recreate the barcodes.
I don't know if this site has ever been threatened with any sort of legal action, but I have to imagine that any half competent civil attorney wouldn't do much else besides sending a threatening email/letter as a scare tactic. Anything beyond that would be a waste of time, and he/.she would know that.

well it wasnt just time, he wasnt responding to some of my emails either. As for the repro, it plays ok and saves data but I havnt played it all the way through yet, its probably fine. The label is pealing off, not sure if thats the case for anyone else, could just be my copy.

I'd recommend nesreproductions.com for anyone in Canada.
The guy lives in Toronto, does excellent work, and is very polite and responds to emails.
I ordered an FF2 nes cart off of him (which I have cased with fine cover art from this site ;D) and it worked fine and there were no issues with the label.
The only issue for some would be that donor carts are required, however it's not a problem for me as I collect NES games anyway and one of my duplicates was compatible.
He only does NES games currently.
How much does one of those eprom burner things cost?
