Hi guys!

I am from England and I mainly collect Sega Mega Drive and Nintendo Game Boy games.

I have a large collection of loose Game Boy games that I'm slowly putting into DS cases and this site has been a great help and hopefully I can contribute as well.

Big thanks to everyone involved with this awesome project!

Hey!, welcome aboard fellow England-er!
any chance of some collection shots?, i love seeing other peoples collections!

Hey guys,

My name is Matt, and I'm new here but have been lurking around the forums for the past year. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and love video games obviously. I mainly try to collect Dreamcast, N64, and current gen games. I love this site and a lot of the projects going on here. I hope to be able to help out a bit.

Hello everyone,

My name is Travis and I have been stalking this site for the past six months, so I finally decided to join.

I use to own the common systems (NES,SNES,N64,PS) as a kid, but we sold them when I was about 15 at a garage sale. The past year I decided to try and get the games I had back, plus the ones I missed out on. So iv only really been seriously collecting for about a year.

When I started to collect I picked up some more expensive titles, and I started to get really paranoid about them being damaged (which is why I do not collect CIB games because I get extremely paranoid about keeping them perfect and scared to even look at them). So I was at a reseller at the flea market and he had the old super nintendo clam shell cases, which were exactly what I was looking for to protect my games. So I went online to find them cheap and came across the UGC, which in turn brought me here and Iv been sold ever since.

So Im Glad to finally be apart of this great community and thank you all for your hard work.

Hello! My name is John. I'm recently married for the third time and living in Tennessee. I've always had some kind of game system growing up and fortunately, i kept them as new ones replaced old ones. So i currently own an Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Gamecube, Wii, and Genesis. My favorite series of games is Castlevania so while perusing ebay, i saw an auction from Game Case World for a set of cases for the NES Castlevania games. I had to have them so i bought them and while checking their website, saw a link to The Cover Project. This place is a smorgasboard of cool stuff!! So after watching a few youtube videos on how to turn the universal game cases into NES cases, i believe i can do this. So i am now trying to find artwork for all my games. While i don't have the printer necessary to print off the inserts, where my wife works has an excellent printer and she was told she could use it anytime she wanted. So all i need now is artwork. I already downloaded the ones that were available but i am far from done. I am hoping you guys can help me out! I have been a Star Wars collector for over 30 years, so if anyone needs any kind of art from Star Wars i can do my best to scan it and get it on here. I also want to thank everyone for their hard work in making such a valuable resource available! I hope i can be a positive contributor to this community. :)

I don't really have anything to take a pic of yet. LOL I only have cases for five of my retro games. Once i get everything done i would be happy to take some pics. So far it's going slow. Seems not too many people have scans of old Atari stuff.

Greetings, folks.  I've been lurking for a few months, and decided to register to publicly offer my gratitude for all the hard work you guys have done here.

Born in the early 1980's, I basically grew up with the NES, although I never really had a ton of games myself.  Now that I'm a (mostly) responsible adult, I've resigned myself to the fact that my Midlife Crisis is basically going to consist of going back and buying all the games I loved as a kid, but never actually owned myself.  Thankfully, I've already got a decent head-start, but I've still got a long way to go.  I've missed grabbing a lot of titles over the years, and that number only goes up as I get older, but I'm sure most of you can sympathize.

A good friend of mine steered me in this direction a while ago, and it wasn't long before I ordered a set of UGCs from Media Shelving and started boxing up my loose cartridges, using the fantastic covers you guys have put together.  I've reaped the benefits of your work, and although my leisure time is very limited as-is, I'll be gradually returning the favor by working on a few covers you guys are missing for various reasons.

I'll go ahead and cut this short and get back to work.  To summarize:

Hi, guys!  Long-time lurker, first time poster!  I look forward to my stay here!

I'm planning to satisfy both my own needs plus the needs of the many to start with.  For example, I'm in need of an NTSC UGC cover for the Genesis Monopoly game.  There is a decent raw for it that's been uploaded, but it needs a bit of cleaning up to meet the high standards.  Most of it will be pretty simple for me (and it helps that it's both such high-quality and a simple design), but cleaning up the screenshots will be a little rougher.  So I plan to start there.

After that I'll work on some Genesis stuff (like a good, quality retail version of Sonic & Knuckles and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, for example) since it's a system quite dear to my heart.  Later I'll expand into making Vertical N64 and SNES UGCs, filling a few gaps in regards to what is missing.  After that (and once I get started on storing my loose GB/GBC/GBA carts in DS cases) I'll move onto GBA covers, but that's for future me to worry about.

Oh, and in regards to the message in your signature...I'll get to that, I promise.  :D
