Welcome!

We are always accepting new covers/raw scans.

I will warn you, quality is quite a priority!

Well since i finally took the dive and decide to find this kind of topic I might as well post now. I'm Josh a 19 yr old(20 next month) and a stocker in nc(don't you just love being a 3rd shifter if you are one  ::) ). And mostly because I have at least 9 loose gc games, all the various gb/c/a games from over the years(minus the few I've lost or stupidly gotten rid of), the few loose ds games I've purchased, and a few games that came with no label or were a gamestop generic case I figured i might as well go through the process of getting the covers especially since I now know a site like this exists(I knew it did but I hesitated for quite awhile).

Currently this is my collection: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=45930

I need to update it but I'm waiting until I get around to ordering my second shelf from atlantic. (and all the loose games bother me) I'm going to be trying to go ahead and print out and store the ones i know I need at the moment along with the ones I've requested and received. Though not a big fan of the black logo people use but don't really know of a alternative to use  ::)

just hoping to by the end of the month hopefully get stuff updated and nicer looking...(even if most of what I need is portable stuff ha ha)

Welcome man. Good on you for wanting to get your games cased up. You'll be glad you did it once they are all nice and pretty on your new shelf. Also, if you're not fond of the black labels it's a very easy fix to come up with your own custom label to paste over the top of them using something like Photoshop or Gimp.

Heh for me that's still going to be a pain....I got photoshop as part of a adobe bundle and still haven't fully taught myself to use it. I need to get around to downloading gimp(again) because I'm not sticking with photoshop once it goes cloud. Subscription for next version? No thank you(and I prefer to stay legal and that is one realm I do not touch because that would be my luck)...

But glad someone has the gb cases though, that case mod from what I've seen that quite a few others do isn't pretty and I just have way too many lose games to be even worth it to try and find the normal ones  :-\

Hi, I have just re-registered as my account had been unused for some time and had been deleted. I actually re-registered last night and then found that the account had been deleted again by today so third time lucky!

I've uploaded a wii cover but it didn't look like any had been added for that console in some time so I'm hoping they are still wanted?

Anyway, hello everyone! Thanks :)

Yeah I'm glad that one can be bought somewhat decently used with the cover still around here. Just gotta jump on it before people like GS start doing the case swap -_-

What were your old user names? Don't think any accounts have been deleted for a long time (unless you spammed the boards with ads)

Yeah there was purge of unused 0 post accounts few years back, and few accounts with posts were deleted accidentally.

I registered a couple days ago and found my account deleted today. So just in case I need to have a post to not get my account deleted again, here is my token introduction. Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz! :P

Hey everyone! Name is Clay, and I am from Kentucky in the USA.

I used to have a teensy collection YEARS ago, but really started getting in to it about 3-4 months ago. I've been bumming my uncles/aunts old games off them and hitting up the local flea markets to snag some of my collection back.

Mainly a Nintendo guy, but at the moment lacking a Wii U (Coming on my birthday thanks to my awesome wife supporting my addiction) and the Gamecube is also missing, but hopefully going to pick one up this weekend at the flea market.

Here's a post with some pics of my collection - Link

I am surprised that I never posted in this thread.  My name as it is in my user name is Aaron and I am from Illinois.  I started collecting games a year and a half ago and now have a large and ever growing collection.

I haven't taken any pictures of my collection yet because it is so disorganized and spread all over my apartment much to my wife's chagrin.  She feels she is getting crowded out with the collection, can't wait til we move into a larger house to accommodate the collection and properly place them all.

I hope to create some good covers, learn from others and contribute a lot to the site.

So decided to make a new user thread to say hello. My name is Douglas, I live in eastern North Carolina.  I just started collecting a few weeks ago. I got most of the main systems that I want, just need a few more then I will work on games. I am trying to finish US Dreamcast first, I have a lot and a lot more on the way right now.  I really like the custom dvd covers on this site for them, so much I decided that was how I would house them.  For the ones I did have the jewel inserts for, I just slide them behind the booklets (These white dvd boxes I bought off ebay have tabs for manuals). And this way it makes it easier to pick up loose games knowing I got at least a good case and artwork for them.

I consider myself a hobbyist level collector. I do not care about sealed/unopened at all, nor the boxes for systems or games.  I do like to have the manuals, and original cases with a few exceptions. Sega I will house in UGCSs, since half of them came in crappy cardboard boxes. Sega CD and Saturn I will do like Dreamcast, because I love the smooth DVD case look and its toooons easier to get loose games than to find the original cases for them all.  I do like to have different versions of games, ie I have 3 Dreamcast NFL 2K. Regular, one that says not for resale, and sega-all stars version.

I was going to go ugcs for cartridges, but then shadowfox decides to make some new nes cases with plans for others later so I am holding off. I ordered some of his GB cases (waiting on them currently) and I will start boxing my gb/advance games.

Heres a link to my pictures - http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=17136.0

Hello there, I am a troll no longer. I've been watching threads and downloading art work for the past month or so now and just decided to register to the forum. My name is Chris, all of the people who are not business associates with me just call me "Scoot".  I am an executive chef, and dietary nutritionist by trade hailing from East Tennessee (in the States).  I wanted to register to simply be able to post how important all of the individuals that contribute to TCP are to me. Truly; you all help me through a very tough time in my life; my financee' recently passed away and our house burned down shortly after that. My friend has allowed me to stay with him as I rebuild my life slowly and one thing that I decided to work on quickly was rebuilding my video game collection for sentimental purposes. I've always been a gamer since I was a small child (I'm currently only 30 now). I've kept all my games/accessories/controllers/systems to all my games over the years and I had a hefty collection. My fiancee and I would play rerto games NONSTOP at our early apartments and house; Smash Bros. for the 64, Mario Cart for the 64, and I accidentally saved over her Final Fantasy 2 save on the SNES and she about killed me. She later repaid the favor by deleting my old Mario RPG saves to make room for her. It was something we truly enjoyed together; I've never been a game hunter per say, or a completion by any means; I had what I had and she had what she had as a kid, Sharpie marks on the cartridges, electrical tape on the controller cable since the fu*&ing cat would always chew through them, never kept any old boxes just had game disks in the ambiguous giant cd book filled to the brim.   So I decided to rebuild my old library and start trying to collect and get organized with it all since I lost it all in the house fire. I found this site by trying to find print and fold boxes for some of the cartridges, then found some custom artwork of Wiggy and became obsessed with the forums, Ive now finished reading all of Wiggy's massive thread post by post (took me three days) and felt so excited and giddy that game collection is so beloved on the forums. I'm so glad that there is a group of like minded freaks like me out there that find the joy in collecting their old favorites and making them even better, I just found out about the UGC's and it blew my mind. And after looking at Wiggy's site for the custom artwork on consoles and games, it does made me feel poor since I realized that just like when I was 8, I still can't afford a freakin' SNES that I want lol. So the old classic console is fine for me for now until I save up some cash for his custom pieces. But before I make this rant any longer than it is; I would again like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for making my happiest memories into tangible objects to allow me to reminisce of my childhood and of my fun times with my fiancee. I cannot wait to get to know some of you more.
Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

Shows how much you loved her by calling her financee' ;)
