Hi. I downloaded and printed 40+ covers in the past couple weeks. I just wanted to say thank you! I was searching for a donation section, but couldn't find one. I stumbled across a thread that said you'd rather have donations in the form of covers. So be it! I'll have to read some scannning threads first (if that's a thing), as I have zero photoshop skills.

Edit: Found the scanning guide, lol.

Welcome to the site.

Before you go bananas and scan your whole collection, scan one box and post it to the boards so we can check it and if necessary help you scan it better.

Hello,  I'm Andy.  My screen name (LawnBoy2ndToNone) is one that I use on the forums that I frequent most.  It makes it easier to remember my screen name from site to site.  I'm 32 and play mostly vintage video games when I play.  I joined the forum, cause I really like the site and everything that it has to offer.  I look forward to eventually having all of my uncased games cased in the future now that I have found this great resource.

I'm more of a outdoor power equipment guy than video game guy.  However, in the winter time I like to immerse myself in Zelda games new and old.  I prefer vintage video games to newer ones, but I still get the new games of the Zelda series.  My screen name comes from mytractorforum.com where I am usually found online.  Lawn Boy is my brand of choice, and just like the video games I like, I prefer my "Boys" vintage.  My oldest mower is a 1964 model, and he runs as good as the day he was made.  I just find it easy to use the same screen name on any forum I belong to, just to keep things simple in a complex world.  This is the second electronics related forum that I belong to, and the reaction to the screen name is always the same.  Thanks for the welcome.

Hey everyone. My name's Cody. Been lurking this site for quite some time. Started printing covers out about 4 years ago, but then kind of fell off. Just getting back in the game now for my SNES collection!

Love this site.

Hey guys! Long time no see. :)

Anyone who used to frequent the site a few years back will probably remember me as z0mbiew0lf. I fell off of using the forums some time freshman year (a comp sci major will do that to ya ;) ). It's probably worth noting that in the past year I've started a gaming blog called Sprites and Dice with a good friend of mine. It never occurred to me until....just about now that this forum is totally worth doing a feature or three on.

Anyway, nice to see the forums are still kicking! Can't wait to use the printer at work to make my collection look good again. ;D

Another new member... been printing these for 6 months now, slowly casing everything (I'm on my 2nd case of UGCs, debating whether or not to put my Atari games in there, as well as if I'm going to go UGC or Bitbox for the NES ones... all 183 of them) and figured I should actually join the forums.

Question on forum etiquette here, as it changes from place to place.  Necro-bumps allowed or frowned upon?  I ask because a couple of the requests I have were made already, but months (and sometimes years) ago.  My gut instinct is to bump the old thread, because people have said "Oh yeah, I can work on that" and that might remind them, but I know some places frown on necro-bumps.
Attempting a complete NTSC-U NES set.  Sell me your games!
Click for What I've Got.  253/677 licensed games, 39/95(??) unlicensed

Welcome.

If you are sure the request wasn't fulfilled (ie search the forums for the cover even if not officially hosted) then go ahead and bump it saying you are also looking for it - and if you have any raw art to help with the request even better  ;D
