Well, lets get the awkward first post out of the way.

My name is Bryan.  I am from Idaho.  I am just finishing up scanning and editing my music album collection (still taking longer than I expected).  I am about to start creating custom cases because I don't know how much longer I can keep the boxes in good condition.  I stumbled on this site watching YouTube videos on making custom cases.  They said it was a place to get covers.  I have some boxes that I did not see on the site, I hope I will be able to add them.

Hello, my name is Ashton and I'm 15 years old. I've been around gaming since I was pretty young, about 5 or 6 I'd say. My first console was the GameCube which I sold at a yard sale about five years ago when I wasn't that into gaming   :'( The worst part about that was that I also sold the Zelda Collector's Edition with it, for something like $5. When I was younger I played some Mario but never got that into it, but I guess it left an impression because I decided I wanted to buy a GameCube again, and the rest is history. Within a week of getting the GC, I had a N64, SNES, and NES. My collection is still small because I can't exactly get a job right now, but hopefully I'll be able to expand soon. I've never been interested in going for complete sets or anything, and I've decided I want to purchase the best rated 25-30 games for each system. I discovered UGC and this site a few weeks ago and decided it was the perfect thing for me because I wanted a good way to display my collection without shelling out the cash for boxed games.

Outside of gaming, I am a high school student and play baseball, basketball, and football. I was able to start as a freshman on varsity baseball this past year and my goal is to get a baseball scholarship at a junior college so I can continue playing. I also like to play paintball, but its pretty expensive so I don't get to play as much as I would like.

I've been lurking around the forums for awhile and I think it's really awesome what some of you have designed and created. I'm not very familiar with designing covers but its something I would definitely like to learn how to do and hopefully I can contribute eventually. Thanks, Ashton.

Hello, my name's Cynthia.   I've been looking at the forums and using the covers here for a while now and decided to register so I could join in on the awesome conversations you guys have :D

I'm 25, currently living in Wisconsin (Milwaukee, blech) but I'd much rather be living in Georgia D:  I'm going on my third year of marriage and have two adorable orange tabbies who are like my daughters.  I've got an Associates in Networking/Computer Repair but I haven't found any places willing to hire me with no experience under my belt.  Soooo I currently work in retail.

The very first system I had was a ps1 with spyro the dragon.  I was a bit conceited at the party for it, telling everyone that I knew it was a ps1 and a game and so my step-dad replaced it with an empty coke 16-pack and a meringue cd much to my dismay. Now I keep my mouth shut >.<

Lastly, I love crafts just as much as games.  Just recently I made a pixel artwork of Zero (from the gba games) out of origami stars.  It's quite big and I need to make a proper frame for it >.<

Hello everyone, I've lurked a little here and there and have used quite a few of the covers from here for cases - mostly NES and SNES. I'm from Iowa and started only collecting horror titles since I used to do playthroughs of them on youtube but eventually moved on to others since I had a pretty good build up from my childhood since I've never sold any of my games. Unfortunately I will most likely not be able to contribute to the covers here but I'll def be able to help with other things. Thanks!

Hi everyone!

I've also lurked here for a long time and started boxing up my collection. I absolutely - love - the time and effort that people have spent to provide this service. I'll be recommending here to all my friends.

I hope I can contribute in some way, shape or form. Unfortunately a lot of my boxes were lost along the way but I have a sizable playstation collection so I'll always be on the prowl to see if I can help some how!

Playstation scans are welcome.

Looks like my turn to introduce myself!

I'm Marc, i live in Quebec Canada. I've been collecting game for the last 15 years, been playing games for around 25-26 years! There was a stop in my collecting ( of around 5 years) when my wife gave birth to our first daughter until last September (2012) when i decided to start it back. Good thing i didn't get rid of anything i had! What I'm currently collecting for is NES/SNES/PS1-2-3 and Vita. If i can get a good deal on other stuff, i won't pass it, which explain my ever growing Sega Master/Genesis/Saturn collection. I also love collecting Art Books from video game and Strategy guides.

As far as making covers go, I'm not a great artist, but i can provide raw cover template that some good artist can re-touch to make them on-par for TCP!

Personal life now, I'm 30, been a machinist for the last 10 years. Been repairing industrial gearboxes, pumps and electrical motors the last 7 years. My wife got a degree in literature and been working for the government for the past 2 years. We have 2 daughters (5 and 2 YO). The oldest start liking video game and the youngest love watching me play my ps3.

And that's about it for now! Hoping to be able to contribute with whatever i can!

Hey everyone,I stumbled upon this place about a month ago.  I didn't really have any big hobbies (other than normal stuff of movies, sports, videogames) and I was immediately drawn to the awesomeness of retro collecting/case production.  I was tired of having a bunch of NES games just placed in random boxes.  What a great idea to make your own cases!  So here I am a month later (and still with no cases, but hey Rome wasn't built in a day) and finally joined the TCP forum and even managed to learn some basic photoshop to come up with a few NES/SNES covers of my own.  I'm not a fan of recreating the original cases (just not my style) and instead like to use fan art and the like to make custom stuff.  This is all for my personal collection of course and I don't have too many games (< 50 NES, <10 SNES), just want them to look good on my shelf in my office/study/den.  Can't wait for the onion cases to come out so I can finally print these suckers out and be proud of all that hard work!  Anyways nice to meet all of you and I look forward to finding/sharing some awesome cover designs.  Thanks for reading!

Hey guys, long time lurker and now I'm finally registered.  ;D

My name is Ben, but I go by JelloEmperor or just Jello. It's a name I've used online for several years now. Just thinking of a name and I saw a box of jello in the cabinet and I have a tremendous love for Star Wars. Just kind of fit.

I've been playing video games for around 30 years. Grew up with Atari, then got an NES when I was 4. At some point or another Ive had just about every console in my possession at one point. I grew up in Louisville, KY and moved to Winston-Salem, NC when I was 21. Just got out of a 12 year relationship with a girl who despised video games and especially me playing them. I met a new girl this past February and she has really pushed me to get back to my roots.

So here I am, having found loose carts and cases missing covers, and stumbled over this site and instantly fell in love. I'm not very experienced with Gimp, but I'm hoping to be able to help get covers done and get my collection cased. I want to offer raws, but can't figure out how to get my scanner to remove moire.
