Introduction Thread

 hey just wanted to introduce myself, My name is Nik or NOTORIOUS NiK B for the gaming world (also my xbox live gamer tag). Im 24 years old from Canada and i have a daughter who is almost 2. I am about to start college in the fall and i will be getting into the HVAC trade. I have been playing games since i was a kid at the age of 3 or 4 and my first console was a nes.

 In the last 3 years, I started collecting older gen games and now my collection is getting big. Just recently started casing all my carts and its proving to be a big task. Currently have all my gameboy, colour and advance games cased and just waiting to print the covers off. I have some covers already printed off but the regular paper i was using wasn't very good. I collect games for the following consoles so far atari 2600, nes, snes, genesis, psp, ds, 3ds, xbox, 360, ps1, ps2, ps3, n64, gamecube, wii and dreamcast. Looking to get into the other consoles eventually.

 I'm i big nintendo fan and xbox fan but going ps4 next gen (because of the xbox one bs). My favourite series are donkey kong, fire emblem, resident evil, castlevania, call of duty, halo, gears of war, zelda, starfox, god of war and assassins creed to just name a few. Currently working on completing a nes black box set, castlevania series, zelda series and a mega man nes set. I really enjoy the covers that you guys make and i will be looking to make some my own and share them with you guys as well. Thanks for the great covers.

I had no idea that this thread existed!!

My name is Christian, I am an avid game collector and player.
I have complete U.S. libraries for the Turbografx 16, Gamecube, game.com (and the Madden prototype!) and virtual boy. I'm moving on to next challenge, Gameboy Advance games!! I always keep the boxes/cases for my games, but on GBA, I am filling in a TON of games that I never bought when they were new.

So yes, I intend to take over the world!!!!

Oops, somehow missed this in my initial search for an introduction area. I'm Brent. 29, married, regional IT manager for an automotive group.

I've been a huge fan of vintage video games (ever since it was even a thing). I've been a lurker here for years, but never had the resources (time and money) to pour any serious attention into anything. Seriously awed by some of the setups and artwork I see here, and hopefully I'll be able to do the same for you guys.

At a point now where I can invest a not insignificant amount of my time or disposable income into this, and I've got some (still secret) ideas for ways to take an excellent hobby to the next level

Hello all my name is Dom or you can call me Goodfella. I currently live in Florida.

I've been stalking this place for the past year or so. I've always loved older games and because of you guys/gals I began collecting again over this past year. Earlier this year I finally bought my first 100 UGCs and have gone through all of them already. This is my first ever forum on the internet, but this community seems so much different from the many other you see across the web. People on here genuinely seem nice (just seems weird in this world this days . I collect many different systems and games though the SNES is my personal favorite. As you can tell by my name I can't resist a good Mob movie!

I have no photo editing skills at all, and unfortunately that is why I've waited so long to join. In the future I plan on trying to learn the trades of using Photoshop, but until then I would like to thank all of you that keep this great website going for those who can't make great covers like myself!

It's amazing what you're doing here and I hope I can contribute some covers as well. I'm not a Photoshop expert, but I know my way around the program pretty well and have made covers for movies, music, and games over the years (with mixed results  ).

I've been playing and collecting games since the early 80s, starting with the Atari 2600. I'm definitely the collector among my friends, especially with retro games. I recently got back into collecting older games, and have been focusing a lot on the Sega Genesis and Super NES lately. It's tough to find certain games with boxes and instructions so the covers here have been invaluable. I'm looking forward to contributing where I can.
