Hello. I'm a newbie to posting and such, but i've actually been using this site for a heck of a long time. My name is Alexa, but people call me Lexi (hence my username), I'm 17, so i'm still in high school. I got into videogames when i was about 4 or 5, my first game was diablo. I still play that game ever now and again. It's nice to now be part of a little videogaming community since i'm often alienated for being a girl-gamer, but i digress; i appreciate how nice everyone is on this site, and i look forward to getting to know you all.

I don't understand alienating girl gamers. I encourage my daughter. Just seems odd to me that anyone would do so. Society sucks sometimes.

Hi I'm Todd.
I currently work at a game store and I'm working on a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering. I'm 29 (Well, will be in a couple hours) and have a beautiful wife and 11 year old daughter. I did have quite a collection before but were lost due to many different circumstances. In just 2012 though, I've managed to acquire around 18 to 20 different consoles and about 500+ games.

I started gaming in the 80's of course. My first consoles were the Atari 2600 and NES, not sure which one I got first. I've played and own many different consoles and played many different games. I'm more addicted to collecting and displaying then actually playing the games.

I also play music and have played in many different bands throughout the last decade. Nothing big just love to play.

I'm looking forward to contributing anything that I have with scans and such and do a bit of image editing as well. Thanks for reading!

Believe me I've explored A LOT through the forums already. There's only about 5 or so covers I need left to complete my collection. I'm currently looking through the RAW scans to see if I'm able to make any myself (not so savvy with Photoshop but I'm going to try my best)

Hello Everyone!

I'm a collector looking to box his collection with Universal Game Cases. Before joining up, I've printed, boxed, and shelved about 40 N64 & 30 SNES vertical cases, as well as a sizable amount of GBA cases. I am well aware that many cases are only available through the forums, but even so I'm having some trouble locating many of the ones that others seem to mention having, especially with the vertical N64 covers. I hope to give as good as I get, and I'll be trying my hand at providing some scans of the nicer boxes in my collection.

I'm currently using A4 HP Glossy Photo Paper that I got from relatives who visited from Sweden. I'm a Swedish immigrant, so all of my relatives are either in Sweden or elsewhere in the world. The covers printed with the paper look excellent, even before they are applied to the case. I've read that using glossy paper would just add extra glare, but I'm not having any problems with it myself. However, I am running a little low on the paper. With over 100 N64, 200 SNES, and 500 NES games to box, I'll be needing a LOT of paper (and ink, ugh). Are there any online sources where I can buy A4 HP Glossy Photo Paper in the United States? I'll also probably have a lot of questions about effectively trimming the cases once I move on to my NES collection, but that's still a ways off.

This much must be said though: Thanks to all the users who dedicate time and effort into making all of this possible. This was exactly what I needed to spice up my collection!

Another new member here. My name's Robert and although I grew up around kids with game systems (NES, SNES, Genesis), I've only started getting into gaming within the past few years.  You see, while my cousins were rocking their Nintendos and Segas, I had...an Intellivision. With like 4 games (my favorite being Burgertime). Yippee.

I finally got into gaming in '09 and since then have amassed a notable collection of consoles and games.  Being that I am a cheapskate, I wound up with a number of games without cases or in broken cases (PS1, Saturn, etc).  I don't recall if I ran into this site on my own or if it was mentioned on Sega-16, but either way, this site has allowed me to give these games proper homes.  At this point, I think I've printed out several dozen covers, mostly from this site; here are a few items from my collection:



I've even dabbled in creating a few covers for myself, though they pretty much look like crap, either because I'm impatient ( lol ) or because I didn't have a good scan to start with:



At any rate, thanks to all the members who have put up both retail & custom covers!

well i might as well share a bit about myself (theres not much to share hehe) my name is Ben, age 28, i live in canada quebec (yes i'm french) i been collection video games since 10 years and 2 months now (it was my motivation to quit smoking), mostly a fanatic of making stuff myself/repair anything and everything about video games, as a way to pay my collecting i repair consoles game etcetc as a side buisness, every consoles i ever had i broke it, and no i never hit my consoles, thats also why i learned how to fix pretty much every consoles since the NES, some call it bad luck, i can it good luck, pushed me to learn how to fix them

i learned of this site about a years and a half ago, while i was doing some research about remaking the snes/nes/n64 box, i was sick and tired of having them loose, tho i rarely talk, i read more on forums that i actually talk on them, this is the first forum i ever posted on. Been with my girlfriend for 4 years and the 10th of april we are going to have a baby boy, he wont run out of stuff, i collect video games and my GF collects movies, disney, horror etcetc, well that's pretty much it, later

hey, so i'm kaysow. 28 year old from sweden, gaming probably since '88 but i've only been collecting for serious since like 2010. mostly trying to get a well-rounded library of essentials, rare masterpieces and some curious oddities. i'm actually not all that anal about it, i just need a cover, booklet and cart/disc to be satisfied enough to check it off as acquired. what brought me here tho was the painful lack of adequate casings for the paper box generations, which to me really aren't worth bothering to track down as they'll eventually degrade to nothing anywya.

everyone here obviously has ocd, but i figured my rampant assburgers might be of use with tasks like the one in my first thread here

anyways, hoping to eventually get the collection housed safely in an aesthetically pleasing manner, and in the meantime that i can be of some use to the community as well. i'm a decent graphical designer and illustrator, altho i much prefer to try and preserve all the quirky 80's-90's commercialist charm of the originals, as god intended.
