I know The Request Forum is for cover requests but I have a different sort of request.

I am looking for Kaiketsu Yancha Maru 3: Taiketsu! Zouringen for the famicom, and have had no luck on ebay.

If you know any other places i might look please let me know.

tried actually looking at japanese auction sites and such?

http://www.amazon.co.jp/ and http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/ are places I've known frequent importers to visit a lot.

I tried to order digimon Dvds once long ago and they would not ship or it would not take my credit card.

There are ways, I think it depends on the seller a lot of times.

You could also sign up for one of those services that like, gives you a mailing address in japan and everything gets forwarded from there to wherever you are.

If you can even communicate with them.  Japan isn't known for having a large population of English speaking people.

So, how does this "get a Japanese address" thing help?  How do you actually get the item then?

It's like an actual service you can get or something. I don't really know the details, but a guy on another forum who exclusively played imports used to do that.

It's mail forwarding service.
You get genuine looking Japanese address where the stuff is send and automaticly forwarded to your actual address where ever in the world that might be.

Hmm, so what does it end up costing to ship something like a single Famicom game after all is said and done?  I know there's plenty of wonderswan games that I want which sell for next to nothing on Amazon.jp ;D

might need some kind of proxy

might not be worth the trouble if you aren't going to import often
