So soundwave925, here is a classic *facepalm* for you!

And I quote myself
Quote
Yeah... and for resale...  If I ever want to get rid of my collection, I KNOW that people would rather have RETAIL > CUSTOM.  Definantly prefer the original cases compared to this.  Not saying this is a bad idea, but I would never buy such a case

Let me add another *Facepalm*

Went to a thrifty shopper today... there sat a plastic baggy... of 44 PS1 games... with manuals, but no cases.  Only the games and the cases.  Well... needless to say, I am in need of some covers, and I am loving your Poly Cases.

So here is my request:

102 Dalmatians: Puppies To The Rescue
Apocalypse
Army Men 3D
Ball Breakers
Big Air
Chicken Run
Cool Boarders 2
Final Fantasy VII
Fisherman's Bait 2: Big Ol' Bass
Grand Slam
In The Zone 2
Jet Moto 2
Killing Zone
Madden 2000
Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX
Megaman Legends II
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero
Moto Racer
N.Gen Racing
Nascar 98
Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit
Need For Speed: V-Rally
NFL GameDay 98
NFL Xtreme
NHL 98
Nightmare Creatures
No Fear Mountain Bike Racing
Pitfall 3D
Road Rash 3D
South Park Chef's Luv Shack
Street Sk8er
Syphon Filter 3
Test Drive: Off-Road
The Crow: City Of Angels
Tiger Woods 99
Tobal No. 1
Tomb Raider
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
Vigilante 8

Completed:
Bushido Blade
Parasite Eve 1
Syphon Filter
Syphon Filter 2
Tomb Raider II

As you all can tell, I am in need of a ton!!  Thanks in advance.  Not to scare anyone away from helping, but all of those games (with manuals) came to $31.79, not bad if I say so myself!

Wow man, nice haul for that price. You definitely have some killer gems in there too. Actually there are a few covers on your list that have already been done by Velmeran.

go nuts :D

I dont think the game fetches for quite that much, especially if its disc and manual only. I got my complete mint copy for about $30 from seymor(the onion game case guy), which was an awesome deal. If it was factory sealed then yes, definitely $200 or more.

Maybe if it's factory sealed...

it's pricey, but not THAT pricey. $80 tops for a complete one.

Already have a Megaman Legends 2 (as well as around 5 full FF7's..), but I figured wth =D.  Last I looked, full Legends 2 was ~$50.  I would comfortably (if I desperately wanted it) pay $50, $200 is for Misadventures of Tron Bonne =D

Updated the list, and thanks for the fast replies!

Legends 2 has bumped up quite a bit in price over the past year or so.

It's annoying considering i sold my copy and need to replace it.

Perhaps I was thinking of Tron Bonne (the one I'm missing), but I know I have seen Legends 2 discs alone go into triple digits. Then again, the price seems to have dropped since the last time I looked. It went up when Legends 3 was announced, then again when it was cancelled. I guess people have started moving on.

Are you sure you aren't quoting inflated BIN prices that probably didn't even actually sell?

That's possible too.

To try to support my Mega Man collection (or at least offset some of the costs), I buy and sell a lot of Mega Man games on eBay and NintendoAge forums and have a pretty good handle on the prices. You should be able to pick up a complete MML2 for under 60 dollars. I recently sold a disc only for 65, so the prices are going up, but a deal can be had now and then. Now Tron Bonne, that one should be around 85-100, but I've seen it over 125-150 lately. It doesn't show up nearly as much.

I could probaly rationalize $60 for a complete MML2, seeing as a new release costs that much, but the average price is often much higher than that I'm afraid.

Legends 1 was only around $15 a couple years ago, but boyd id it shoot up after the MML3 debacle. $30 is still somewhat reasonable, but that is a 200% increase. Good thing I already own both discs.

Another reason to get pissy with Capcom:

That MML3 crap jacked up the prices on the older games, all for NOTHING.

also Capcom hasn't done anything good with Resident Evil since 4. (RE4 was damn good I don't care how much you love your fixed camera angles IT WAS A DAMN GOOD GAME)

Well, the fact that they haven't re-released any of the Legends games in the US (Legends 1 was a Greatest Hits, but that doesn't count) doesn't help. Japan got MML 1 and 2 on PSP in about 3 different variations (initial release, CapKore release, Dual Pack release) but we don't get squat because they don't want to pay voice actor royalties. The whole MML3 fiasco just created higher demand for a market that didn't have the supply to begin with. Honestly, I'm surprised those games don't cost more, MML2 and Tron Bonne are way rarer than some 3 figure games. When PS1 collecting becomes the new in-thing, those games will skyrocket.

So yeah, screw them.
