that's insane!  :o I've never seen that kind of work into a one-of-a-kind system!

I'd buy one.

I'd buy 2 if  the console still includes the system link port.

I'd totally buy one as well to play Gear Games on a TV using RGB, that would be amazing :)

When the Japanese mod consoles, they do it to the max.  I've seen a few other Japanese made mods and they almost always include custom packaging, incredible attention to detail, etc.

This one is pretty intense as well.  Have the patents for the GameGear hardware expired yet?  If so, then there wouldn't be anything stopping someone from developing something like this...

Um....the Game Gear is essentially a portable version of the Master System. There exist adapters to run MS games on a game gear. No circuitry, no chips, they act as a pass through.

I know there are exclusives on the GG, but there should be a simpler way to run them on the TV. Say a pass through to run GG games on a MS/Genesis

Nope,  game gear is more powerful than the ms.  It has a larger colour pallette, and you would not be able to get most games to work on the ms.

I think you're missing the point.

Very cool idea!!

The GG is currently the only handheld that I cannot play on a TV... this would really help with playthrough videos and screenshots.

Actually both only allow 32 colors on screen from a palate of 4,096. The only difference is the resolution. Making an adapter to run GG games on a Master System should not be that hard, as you are reversing the pin out from the MS to GG adapters.
