| What cases are these? |

| Rafingon:
Hello guys. A couple months ago, I bought a pack of 10 supposed Universal Game Cases from a random seller at ebay. When I finally put my hands upon them, I noticed it wasn't excatlly what I was looking for. It's really like a regular UGC, except it has more depth and it has no plastic cover for putting the cover between. I took some measurements and it's proportions are 5,5 cm length, 7,4 cm heigh and 3 cm depth. Here some pictures: This one in comparison with a regular UCG. Notice how the spine is larger. I have no clue for what kind of cases are these, can somebody help me out? |

I think I saw a site selling these when the grate famine of 2010 was making people look for alternatives. ts just some UG cases some other site made. You can probably get some polyvinyl to wrap around it to put the cover in. |

I loled at the great famine. Anyway, adding the plastic is a possibility, but the size of the covers won't fit these bigger cases (spines would have to have 0,5 cm more). Guess I would have to edit them at my own. |

Adding the plastic would be a lot of work (and I would know). I'd just buy some proper cases from Mediashelving and be done with it. Also, those dimensions don't make any sense to me. That would be a tiny-ass case by my measurements. The UGCs I have measure 3cm x 13.5cm x 18.5cm ??? Do you mean inches for the first two measurements and cm for the last? |

Adding the plastic films sounds like a hassle. If you want to keep those cases, maybe you should consider spray glue. Print and cut out the covers, spray either the paper or the case with the spray glue, and stick. It's kind of a permanent solution, but it's better than no cover at all, I think. And with spray glue, you can get a nice, even coating. |
