I have yet to purchase UGC yet but I'm about to.  What game instructions from specific systems don't fit into the cases?

That's too bad.  Oh well.     What would it take for someone to design there own line of cases?  Do you think there is a big enough market in the world to make money of them, other wise there wouldn't be a point.

There actually is a thread here about that.

Though there hasn't been much discussion about it lately.

I've been reading that thread.  It's an incredible idea.  I'm thinking I'm just going to wait for these cases. I don't like the UGC cases that much anyway.  I mean they are ok.  But I think that they could be much better and should accomodate larger booklets.

Now isn't that cute...... BUT IT'S WRONG! ;D

SNES and Jaguar do fit without any problems. Big NES ones? I have quite a selection of NES games with small manuals and bigger ones. All of them fit...

I have many of them stored in UGCs. The only problem I came across up to now is when Mega Drive Multi-language manuals are to thick to fit.

Other than that pretty much all manuals of the designated systems UGCs are produced for fit.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I don't see why N64 manuals would fit but SNES and Jaguar wouldn't as they're essentially the same size.

Oh, OK.

I just reported what I had read on the boards (That SNES, N64, Jaguar and big Nes ones (all same size) don't fit properly into UGCs).

Like others have said, they fit, but if the manual is a thick one it might have a slight bend to it.  Nothing harmful that would cause any permanent bending, however, but yeah, all my SNES manuals are in the UGC along with their respective games.  I guess you could alleviate the bend if you file down some of the plastic holders but that's really not necessary IMO.  Even a thick manual like Quest of the Avatar (NES) or Illusion of Gaia (SNES) fit just fine.

They fit but it's a tight fit for larger manuals and like Wolf said they have to be bent slightly.

Also they are just kind of in there and clipped down or anything.

I slide the small NES manuals into the dust covers or lie them under the cart (don't have a dust cover for every cart) and just squeeze in the larger manuals.

For NES I'll stick with UGC as there aren't too many games with the larger manuals

For SNES I decided to go with double wide DVD cases that have manual clips as every SNES game has the large sized manual.  Also I find the SNES games have trouble fitting in the UGC with a manual if you want to store the game in a dust cover.

The case definately bulges in the middle but I also have this issue with the DVD cases.

The Onion cases thing sounds awesome but it's happening to slowly.

I'd like to see him get a loan to start it up now instead of saving up to start it.  A bank would loan cash if a solid business plan is in place although I'm not sure how it is in the US like if you'd have to put up your house or something as collateral though.
