Wrong.
All you need to do is a simple mod to remove the tabs in the cart slot. Or alternatively, swap the back of the cartridge casing with the back from a cheap sports game or something.
And gamesharks are hardly illegal.
I've personally never sold a game I've enjoyed to any capacity and not regretted it. I've never regretted owning a lot of things, but I've almost always regretted selling. Just food for thought. Besides, I don't know about you, but I personally like having a large selection of games to choose from when I'm in the mood to play.

Yeah, I was going to do the simple mod to take off the plastic tabs on the cover slot. I never thought of switching out the back, if I'm only getting one import game I might just do that instead.
I looked into some of your suggestions. I will probably get the Beetle Racing game (never heard of it!). The platformers you suggested also sound intriguing, gonna do some more research ;D

I'm not really into most sports games, as you can see by the games I'm looking to get rid of. NFL Blitz definitely has its appeal to me though, and I was only going to ditch it since there have been upgrades. Does anyone have any insight here? Of the 3 for the 64 (Blitz, 2000, 2001) and the new remake, which should I get if I only want one? 2000 seems a clear improvement, and 2001 seems nearly identical to that version.

I enjoyed Mario Party as a child, but most of my gaming these days is by myself so I definitely don't need all 3 versions. Not to mention that I just spent plenty of effort restoring the analog sticks on 2 of my controllers, and Mario Party (1) was definitely a culprit in that disaster.
