Help me with my N64 Collection!

So basically I have a passionate disdain for the way console games are headed, and probably won't be buying one of the next-gen consoles. I've decided I can continue to game for a LONG time by simply focusing on getting older titles for my systems. I'm working on N64 as my first project. Please help me by suggesting titles for my collection. I want to eventually pass these on to my children (only 24 though, no rush!), but the main concern right now is just getting the games that are CLASSIC and/or simply the best games for the system. Please make suggestions of games that you loved on the 64 and why they were great. Here's what I have so far:

The N64 library is kinda small, so truthfully I'd try and nab anything good you can find. Even if you grab everything worthwhile, you're still looking at a collection that hits maybe 50-60 or so games, tops.
Doom 64 is definitely worth keeping I'd say. Best of the classic Doom games imo.
I'd probably hold on to KI Gold too because let's face it, you said yourself it's an alright game, and it's not like N64 carts take up a lot of room and it's not like you'd get much for selling it anyway.
suggestions:
Mischeif Makers: Kinda short but charming and unique 2D platformer. Very inexpensive and quite fun, no reason not to own this one I'd say.
Snowboard Kids: I know you said no more racers, but this is worth getting anyhow. Basically think 1080 snowboarding meets Mario Kart.
Snowboard Kids 2: See above, but with more characters and stages and some cool Diddy Kong Racing style boss battles. If you only get one of the two Snowboard Kids games, I'd get this one.
Space Station Silicon Valley: An often overlooked 3D platformer. You play as this small microchip thing and take control of the various animals around levels. Each animal has a unique set of abilities. It's really cool!
Beetle Adventure Racing: Again, I know what you said about the racers, but this game is really really great. Possibly the single most underrated racer on the entire console. Tracks are HUGE and FILLED to the brim with tons of secrets and shortcuts. Exploring the levels is just as fun as actually racing!
F-Zero X: Once again with the racing, but I mean it, this game is an absolute classic that you should have in your collection. Extremely fast paced with a very smooth framerate.
Bomberman Hero: Very different from Bomberman 64. They basically tried to take the Bomberman character in a totally new direction by throwing him in a more traditional adventure game. A lot of people got all pissed about this for some reason, but personally I thought the game had charm and was a lot of fun. It's very cheap too!
I'd be interested in a couple of the games you're trying to get rid of, but alas, bills have sucked away all my money this month.

Sin & Punishment is JPN exclusive, the only way to play it in the US is to either use an illegal device or download the virtual console version. You have Goldeneye, you don't really need anymore 007's.
Harvest Moon is pointless if you have Animal Crossing on any system, it's not that great to begin with.
I would recommend getting all 3 Mario Parties, Mario Golf, and Mario Tennis. There's also Kirby 64, as well as the two Pokemon Stadium games.
I'll toss another vote for Space Station Silicon Valley. Had a'lot of fun with it as a kid, but I dunno if it's still great today. You're selling Pokemon Snap, I think that is a wise choice as that game has not aged well; It was a small phenomenon when it came out, and maybe even a year or two after release, but the original cartridge is worthless as you can download the virtual console version, which has the ability for you to take in-game photos and save them to your Wii!
F-Zero is the type of game that you're either going to hate or love, and I'm unfortunately a hater. I suggest trying a demo or seeing some videos before buying.
As far as numbers, I think 20-25 is an acceptable number. I personally am aiming for 20, with the only real exclusions being the Zelda games, as Ocarina of Time has the 3D version, and Majora's Mask is getting a 3D remake eventually as well. Keep the cartridges though, no reason to sell them if you already have them.
If you really don't feel like you enjoy Killer Instinct and DOOM, then by all means get rid of them or give them to a friend or family member. Trust me on this, if you don't feel motivated to play a game, then don't keep it around unless it has some sort of practical use(Like having multiple versions of a Pokemon game for more save files).
There's collecting for the sake of collecting, and then there's collecting to play. Which are you?

Wrong.
All you need to do is a simple mod to remove the tabs in the cart slot. Or alternatively, swap the back of the cartridge casing with the back from a cheap sports game or something.
And gamesharks are hardly illegal.
I've personally never sold a game I've enjoyed to any capacity and not regretted it. I've never regretted owning a lot of things, but I've almost always regretted selling. Just food for thought. Besides, I don't know about you, but I personally like having a large selection of games to choose from when I'm in the mood to play.

Then simply don't sell stuff you like to play, even if you haven't played it in a few months.
Unfortunately some of us can't help it. Personally, I lost/sold quite a few greats years ago, and am paying up the nose to get them back. Never again, but I haven't regretted selling, say, Metroid Pinball, or Epic Mickey. I found the games terrible and likely will never go back to them, so it was an easy choice.
