I have a really bold plan to accomplish before I die. Well 1 of many actually. (Walking accross the US and walking all the way around Australia are 2 lol) Anyhow I'm trying to have a complete game collection of each console and PC, Arcade machines. I know thats alot of games obviously. It would also be millions of dollars possibly. My biggest problem is finding a reliable check off list for each system, Printable version. I'm only looking for North American Releases. I don't need the games to be complete in box(would be nice). But I do need them to be in A UGC, DVD, VHS, DS case, UMD etc. and have there original manuals. I think it is important for someone to have this goal because video games are the greatest form of art in my opinion and as the world moves on to bigger and better games the original releases and the original format that these game where played may be lost forever. |

Why not just get the games you are interested in? Would you really play every...single...game...on any console? |

"Posted by: scarmullet Insert Quote Why not just get the games you are interested in? Would you really play every...single...game...on any console? " True I wouldn't play all of these games or even a fraction of them honestly. I'm sure someone would though. This would also bring a good opportunity to game reviews like CGR does. I always want to keep these games in clean working order. Think about it this way, videogames have been around for less than a century and I think there are games, mostly older ones that are dissapearing. I want to have this collection not just for myself but for future generations as well. I want someone 100yrs+ from now to be able to put in a copy of 007 on an original N64 and see what we used to do haha. Or go up to a pong arcade and play it, even though by then they'll probably have something that makes what we have look like a spear compared to a tank. |

CGR does what he has available, Mark doesn't have every video game, or every video game console, a lot of it is donations (Muhammad for Quatar). Focus on what you have at the moment, and find something interesting about it, or make it seem interesting. |

I know he doesn't have every game but I think that if someone did, they could make a complete uniform review of all of them. Obviously one person couldn't do all of this. Mark does an excellent job. I'm just saying I think that at least a few people should set this as a goal to preserve games/systems/consoles. |
