My ScanMaker X6 has lasted 10+ years and still works. I cannot use it anymore because it is old and does not have drivers for Windows systems greater than Windows 98. I have Win98 but newer systems cause issues (too much ram and large hdds.) I need a new one now so I will pay the price. Microtek is worth the price (in my opinion.) I will be set for many years to come. I will be able to share scans which makes me happy :) |
