Fuck the age of downloads! I was pissed when they yanked the Ninja Turtles off of Virtual console and the xbox 360 arcade / psn. Now, look at this: http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/29550 I think we need to start an anti-downloading movement! We should demand tangible games! |

This sort of this thing only really concerns me when they try to take it away from my after having already purchased it, refund or not. I mean, when you think about it, hard copies don't stay on sale forever either. It is a bummer, but it's not really that much different than buying physical copies except that you can buy them used (which the gaming industry has fought harder than ANYONE). The PSP Go was Sony's not-at-all-veiled attempt at moving to a strictly vapor format and obviously the world isn't ready to give up their hard copies. Thank god, because that'll mark the end of buying new games for me. Personally, I've semi-boycotted downloadable games for years (I say semi because I'm occasionally compelled to purchase a game that doesn't exist in a tangible format). All that said, I'm on board for a 100% boycott if it'll help ;) |

Pulling Sonic games is crazy. And if your system ever breaks? You are fucked on a console like the Wii. Even if Nintendo transferred your downloads it would be to the new little wii that doesn't allow use of GameCube controllers. |

Well, my method is such; if I can buy it in a tangible format, then that's what I do. Stuff like classic Sonic games on the Wii are something that I'd NEVER pay for yet AGAIN. I purchased them brand new 20 years ago, and again on a Sonic collection disc for the 'Cube 10 years later, and I'll be damned if I'm buy those same games a 3rd time. I get why it's upsetting, but in the case of ancient Sonic games, I just can't get all bent out of shape. It's not entirely unreasonable to simply stop selling something for one reason or another. |

My guess is its some kind of license expiration makes no sense to remove them otherwise still it sucks |
