The Best TMNT Game Ever
mariocaseman:
It saddens me that because of the Ninja Turtles license being taken away from Konami (aka Ultra) that we will most likely never see re-releases of the 5 best TMNT games of all time - the ones based on the original series!
Recently, Konami's license expired and the original TMNT was pulled from the Virtual Console. I'm curious to know everyone's favorite game in the original series for Home Consoles. Please cast a vote. Thank you and let's hope someday a game disc is released with all 5 so even when the license expires we can still hold a tangible copy.

There is actually a remake of Turtles in time for Xbox/PS3, so it doesn't seem like it's impossible to make something like that happen.
My vote is for the first arcade game, not the crummy NES version.
Or, you could just do what any old-school gamer does and buy actual copies of the games. Nobody's gonna fucking take my copies away because of some BS licensing issue.

Your point is all the more apt as, if I'm not mistaken, the remake of Turtles in Time (and the original arcade game on XBLA) has also been removed.

From Wikipedia:
"The arcade version of Ninja Turtles is included as a hidden bonus game in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube. The version featured in the game is a port of the original arcade version, but with altered music and most of the voice clips edited out."
Just thought some of you would be interested. =)
