Created the basis for a Sega CD list.

http://wiki.thecoverproject.net/index.php?title=Sega_CD

I cleaned it up a little last night, but we'll use your format as the basis for the master lists. Oh and, you may want to go back and check your links... links can be to a game OR a cover. All of your links are to games, but many are using the cover id so the links are busted.

Yeah I noticed that. thanks for the help.

I also have updated all the dead links. Please let me know if you see any other issues

No worries, it's a community effort. Take what you need. I'll do the same if I see something that could improve my future lists :)

I added the lists of all licensed US NES and N64 games taken from the Nintendo website to the WiKi.

http://www.nintendo.com/doc/n64_games.pdf and http://www.nintendo.com/doc/nes_games.pdf

WiKi entries

NES: http://wiki.thecoverproject.net/index.php?title=NES
N64: http://wiki.thecoverproject.net/index.php?title=Nintendo_64

Neither are updated yet to reflect what covers we have.

Have to love regular expressions and search and replace functions for these long lists.

Great work. I have all the lists from Nintendo and added the Virtual Boy list, but I couldn't find the motivation to add the NES and N64 lists, or any other long list for that matter :)

Maybe you should alter the text above the table, since this list is from Nintendo itself it's unlikely that it's missing any titles or contains homebrew games. See the Virtual Boy list on our wiki for reference.

Done.

I will probably do the SNES later, and merge with the article that is there already.

That'd be great! I know how much work this is so your efforts are highly appreciated.

It isn't that bad, I devised a system for it.

I paste a column of the game list into Excel in the second column. Adobe has a select column feature so you can select the column just containing the games.

In the first column I put the | , I put a ~ in the next three columns, and then a |- in the final two.

I then save the file as a CSV and load into visual studio.

Next I do a find and replace to replace characters with wiki format characters and HTML <br /> for line breaks.

I then save the file as an HTML file and load into firefox, cut and paste the results into the wiki editor and viola table.

It sounds more involved than it is, it takes under 5 minutes for each system.

Are they still making new Gamecube games or do you think the list out there is final?

Yeah, I'd say it's complete enough. Not even EA will release new games for GC. The new Madden must have been a leaving present. The only thing that may be on the horizon are licensed games for some nickelodeon or cartoon network shows. Should be easy to keep track of.

Dreamcast (US) and TG-16 Posted.

If anyone has a complete list of one of the empty systems but doesn't want to go through the hassle of formatting for Wikipedia I will be glad to do it for them.

A simple list I can cut and paste to excel is sufficient.

The following systems appear empty atm.

Atari 2600
Atari 5200
Atari 7800
Atari Jaguar
Atari XE
Colecovision
Famicom Disk System
Intellivision
Nintendo Wii

The GameBoy and GameBoy Color master game list can also be found on the Nintendo homepage, they're exactly at the same place the SNES, NES and N64 lists were. I wonder how you missed them ;)

http://www.nintendo.com/doc/cgb_games.pdf
http://www.nintendo.com/doc/dmg_games.pdf

EDIT:
I have a Neo Geo CD master list and I think I saw a Saturn Masterlist on CAG. A Jaguar list shouldn't be too hard to find either as its game library was...kept within reasonable limits ;)

EDIT #2:
The Neo Geo CD Masterlist can be found here
