Here is a better idea:

I actually prefer Vita cases now, but I am not sure if a standadr SD card will fit into them. Can someone find out for me?

Got my Vita. Seems we are in bad luck. Vita Carts have another dim then SD cards normally do and the memory card holder is even smaller.

Are you talking about the vita case?  The vita doesn't use MS Pro Duos at all and the case is not designed for the cards. The vita game cards are similar in physical size to the MS Pro Duo but are different enough that the MS Pro Duo doesn't fit in the vita case (unless you modify the vita case).

Depends on how thick the USB drive is. It must be pretty thin in order to fit in the case since the case is so thin itself. If your USB flash drive doesn't fit in a 3DS case then it won't fit in the vita case.  My guess is most wont fit.  :(

^^^ There's plenty of really thin jump drives.  I imagine that it wouldn't be hard to find some that fit without issue ;)

I bet these would fit just fine:

Try and see if a standard SD card will fit inside the Vita case.

Not in the game card slot.  The manual clip doesn't really hold much of anything well. You could put an SD card slot in the case but it won't be secure.

Nothing a hot glue gun could not solve. Would you mind if someone used your Vita template to construct a series of Virtual Console and Wiiware covers? I prefer to use something small for the covers because a project of this size does not require big cases or cover because it would consume too much resources.

Although DS cases would work better:
