So while spelunking through the innards of the internet, looking for a case that'd look halfdecent on a shelf and hold an SD card, I stumbled over a failed handheld called N-Gage. I think this would work perfectly as a unified media for XBLA/PS.NET/WiiWare/DSiWare/3DSware titles. We just need to build some templates, ne?

Yeah, but where are you gonna source the N-Gage cases from?

I actually prefer Vita cases now, but I am not sure if a standadr SD card will fit into them. Can someone find out for me?

If they don't...

Here's a rough cut of an idea I had for them. I've sussed out everything except the tech/copyright on the back cover. I personally feel it's not needed but.. welll... Not-so needed for a custom cover?

Making indiviual cases for each game would be kind of a waste. Why not make a cover for each Virtual Console and then one for Wiiware and DSiware? It would look so much better and be so much cheaper in the long run.

I don't quite get making cases for downloaded games :/

Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to display both MM9 and 10 on my shelf, but it seems odd considering there was never a hard copy of either.  Speaking of, someone with some serious tech know how should make repros of those games.  I'd pay a pretty penny for them, that's for sure!

Believe it or Not, Reproductions for 9 and 10 are impossible. They are not coded in 6805 assembler, and its a faux 8-bit. Unless you are willing to completely recode the game, its not happening.

That's all Greek to me, but I'll most definitely take your word for it.

I'd be willing to rebuild sprites, that's for sure!

I'm pretty sure someone could make a really close approximation of 9/10 by hacking Mega Man 2.

they could, but total conversion rom hacking is a pain in the butt. You may as well start from scratch.

Can SD cards fit inside a PS Vita game case where the games go?

Gotta get rid of the classic controller and gamecube icon...  It blows, but you can only play MM9 and 10 with the wii remote

I'm about 99% sure the classic DOES work with it. I'll double check when I get home later...

It does not, you are wrong.  It fucking blows too because you can use the classic for VC MM 1-5, but NOT 9 and 10 on Wii Ware

The classic works with MM9 and MM10. It's the GAMECUBE controller that's been removed from the equation. Whilst the front is absolutely unchanged, I've done some mroe work on the back, to the point I am happy with it and would print and shelve it ASAP.
