Nice! That's a sexy looking case you made there. Now you just need to attach a ribbon to it like the originals, unless your using it on a top loader...

Do you think you could make a turbo everdive shell with that 3d printer?

ie: How sturdy is the 'plastic' that comes out of it?

That's the plan ;)  Just gotta figure out where I'm gonna get something like that or how I'm gonna make it.  I bet I can find something around the house that can be cut apart...

It sorta depends on the the parts being printed.  Anything less than about 2mm thick is kinda delicate.  Are you thinking a replica of what SAG has or something else?

I like what's been done, but would be happy with pretty much anything that keeps it safe and grease/dust free..  But I'm guessing it would have to be pretty thin.

No, more like a nylon strap similar to what the honeybee adapter used.

Any fabric stores near you? I have one near me called Fabric Land and they sell all kinds of fabrics/materials and your able to buy just what you need.

The Honey Bee converter I have is actually missing the ribbon, so Im going to stop at Fabric Land tonight (if I remember lol) and grab a nice little piece of shiny gold ribbon to replace it! I was thinking a nice shiny red or grey ribbon would do the trick on yours!

Picked up that Gyromite fami adapter a few weeks back, was bummed that it doesn't come in a nice shell ;)

Can you share the 3D printer files you used to print that adapter case? I'd like to make one for myself.

Not typically something I like to do since I do sell these and it takes me a good chunk of time to build the models.  Also, it does require some modification to the cart itself. On its own, there's nothing to hold the cart in the shell, so a few notches must be cut to give it something for the cart shell to hold get a grip on. Shoot me a pm and we can talk more about it.

Quick, crappy iPhone panoramic
