I've heard many stories about folks getting turned away.  Sucks

The Staples in my town have yet to turn me away, but I might just go else where next time I'm printing. Iv got to them twice now and both times they screwed me.

I asked for them to print the covers on legal size paper. They said not a problem come back tomorrow. I go back up and pick them up, go home and realize they are all printed on standard size, so they are all small. I go back up and asked for a refund, they wouldn't give it to me.

Next time I figure I will try again and be 100% sure they print them on legal size, I told them it has to be legal size not standard its very important. Sure enough I go to pick them up, they are mixed out of the 15 covers 7 are legal size the others are standard. And again they would not refund me.

I think that it sucks up at these bigger store when you have 10 different people who work in one day so communications get lost. So next time I am going to try somewhere else and maybe they will get it right.

The store I went to to get a few covers screwed me up too. It was a small printing shop with little communication between the 2 people who handled me. I go In with some images, they print to big, they say go and put them in a PDF, I do and come back they print the files not in the PDF, and missed 2 cover, and one was pixelated. They charged .70 per cover and $15 in labor and made me pay for rhir mistake prints.  I did not cause a big commotion, I just wanted to leave.

So are they making you pay BEFORE you get a chance to look at them?  If so, tell them to fuck themselves and that you're not gonna pay until you can see the work.  That's a load of horseshit.

Yes, they make you pay right when you give them the images, and then you go to a side counter to pick them up. It really pissed me off, especially the set that was half and half because it seemed like they caught themselves fucking up but did not care enough to fully fix the issue.

I think I am just going to find somewhere else to do them, I attend university and they have a nice print shop on campus so I might try there.

Hit up FedEx/Kinkos if there's one near you. I've never been charged up front and I did a LOT of printing with them while I was in college.
