i had a brainwave!, maybe this has already been thought of...
why doesn't somebody set up a cover project store on ebay?, list a load of different covers for $1 each, (when i do a search i usually select to order the results by cheapest first), then inside the listing put something like, "if you REALLY dont want to spend a dollar on this, all covers are available for FREE on thecoverproject.net"
the people selling won't/can't list at those prices, so they would loose sales, the people looking would probably not buy and come straight here!, the downside is some people would probably still want to buy them...

Just caught up on this thread. Man I really wish there was some kind of action i could think of that could be taken. This just isn't right...

You guys were able to help me catch and stop a site from selling my Fusion covers, and just finding out that  that friendly "rgc" member was actually from one of those sites and intended to steal and sell my updated covers as his own thoroughly pissed me off....

So I'm with Wiggy and Dr. Agon. If something can be done to lessen or stop this, then let's do it.

I was on fire today (mostly because I was stuck at computer today and couldn't really do any physical work). Made 10 covers today


My Genesis games are all caught up now. Just gotta case a handful of NGP and about 10 SNES games. My shelves will pretty much be full after that

As I've been picking up a lot more SFC games lately, it's started to irk me a bit as well.  I considered placing them at the beginning or end, but that would annoy the hell out of me when it came time to search for a game to play (I often stand there for like 5 minutes trying to figure out what to play, and that would just makes things worse).
