What I would do is inform the buyers that you created the cover, it is of your design, and the person selling it is doing it without your permission, also link them to your covers and tell them about this site.

I noticed lamecaseworld was selling some of mine, noticed some sold, and I did just that, and the buyers demanded a refund...lamecaseworld threatened legal action against me, and it never came to pass.

The guy is full of crap.

I see the point of using them, but if I were to sell cases on here, it would be just for cost of materials. $0.60 for the case, plus paper and ink/toner. No labor, no profit.


the watermarking idea may be the way to go, like watermark our screen names into the image...but we gotta figure a way to make it so none of us get the watermarked version, and places like Lamecaseworld do

Finally gonna try and follow through on something that I started a WHILE back.  Seeing my work all over eBay, not to mention my work on GCW even after she talked all that smack about how "crappy" my scans are and whatnot.  Of course they're selling my Stack Up cover that took me forever to completely rebuild from scratch using vectors.  Screw 'em.

I think the problem with just making people have to me a member is everyone will just join and do the same thing.  If you did something like a "Trial" period where someone high up on the site has to grant you the privilege to download the covers by meeting certain requirements might stop some of these thieves.
