No sense in not getting the most out of those little vectors ;) It's not like they make themselves :P

You could probably find another spot to mount it, but it will require a LOT more modding to do so.  There isn't a whole lot of open real estate inside the GBA. It can be done at the bottom, but it takes significantly more measuring and work to make it happen, which I don't think most people would be up to. The curved surface alone makes it a headache to deal with down there at the bottom.

Basically, I'll provide instructions to mount it and wire it up in the location that I've prescribed, but it's just a generic toggle switch.  You can mount it anywhere you see fit :)

I remember when the Afterburner was the big thing, people would mount its potentiometer in all sorts of places. I recall seeing one guy put it in the battery compartment! :D

I never got one of those kits, and I was really bummed to find out they were no more when I actually got around to ordering one a couple of years later :(

Excuse me for posting in the wrong thread earlier, I wasn't sure where to post.

Love your work Wiggy, you have me interested in a copy of a full backlit GBA.
Are you going to ship them to Europe?

And could you please e-mail me your cover art?
I fell in love with your Megaman/Star Wars set.
My E-mail is on my profile, thanks.

No power since yesterday afternoon, so I'm making boxes by candle light :-\ Thank goodness I printed these Sunday night. Luckily the rest is all just measuring board, cutting, and gluing. No fancy electricity needed :P

Go figure, right after I was saying how hurricanes never seen to give us any grief. That'll teach me to say shit like that. Also, product should be here this week. I'll start taking orders as soon as the goodies arrive :D

I'm at the local library :P

No, JK. On the phone. Luckily neighbors have power, so I can charge my phone over there. Thank goodness!  Gotta love technology ;D

Also, still working in the dark :(

I'm lucky that it's Halloween. I've got all these LEDs and candles out and about already. They've been a life saver :D

So all you Americans doing okay after Sandy?
The only time I'm lucky to live in Europe.

I live in Texas, so the hurricane didn't affect me, but I do feel for the folks on the East Coast. It seems like that part of the U.S. is getting pounded more regularly...weird.

We (as in the area that I live) almost never see any serious weather change as a result of hurricanes. We're pretty far from the east coast, and prevailing winds from the North (Canada) tend to be our biggest issue normally since that wind pushes across Lake Erie and often means lots of rain and/or snow. But this crap is all coming up from the south east, where the hurricane is. According to the electric company, as of yesterday morning, 161,000 people in the greater Cleveland area were affected by the storms. That's a HUGE percentage of the population. It's down to around 100K now, so they're obviously working hard to get things back to normal. The winds have died down for us and its mostly just really rainy. Like REALLY rainy. My pugs are super pissed. They hate the rain, so getting them to go potty outside has proven a fun chore LOL!

Besides lack of power (and thus heat), we're fine. I really feel bad for the folks that have to deal with the hurricane directly. No good. Hope they're all OK.  I'm actually going to my mother's house for the day in about an hour or so. She has power/heat, and it's about 55* in our house at this point. I'm wearing thermals and a huge hoodie, but even so, it's getting a tad too cold for me.

Even with all this crummy weather, the US post office has proven that their old motto still holds true (basically that they operate regardless of weather conditions) as all the lighting goodies just arrived :D

Gonna work on packaging and whatnot today at my mother's house and hopefully have the kits for sale in the next day or so ;)
