Have you decided on a price yet? To be honest when I first saw your post with the pics I really didn't notice your logo on the box...I actually thought it was a real kit that you had bought from japan or something lol. Good job! |

To be honest when I first saw your post with the pics I really didn't notice your logo on the box...I actually thought it was a real kit that you had bought from japan or something lol. Good job! --- End quote --- Thanks! Price for the kit will likely be 60 plus shipping (which will be cheap since it only weighs a few ounces), 90-100 for me to mod yours for you, and 110-130ish for a pre-modded unit (sorta depends on what prices I can find since I'd be buying used consoles, obviously). Not set in stone, but it'll be close to that. The kit will include the adapter ribbon cable, new SP 101 LCD, 2-way brightness switch & all the wire needed to put it all together. Instructions will be in the form of a PDF in the spirit of Eco-friendliness :) The switch doesn't need to be installed (having it will mean that you can't use the GameCube link cable or anything else that uses the slots on top), but it's in the kit either way. You'll just have to choose between one of the 2 brightness options if you don't use it. The casing does need a moderate amount of modding (i.e. cutting plastic bits) to make everything fit. It can be done with an Xacto, but a dremel is WAY more helpful. Obviously that sort of modding is permanent, but the original screen can still be reinstalled at some point if you should ever want to. --- Quote from: sheep2001 on October 18, 2012, 04:19:46 PM ---well - i have a gba sitting here in need of a new screen, didn't realise your kit came with a whole new screen. can you linkl to the PDF so i can see if i can fit it myself or not? ;D --- End quote --- Here you go! http://www.2shared.com/document/m7o232TT/GBA.html |
