...Doc, figured out a simpler solution for GBA compatibility. I'm so happy that I don't have to try and figure that whole mess out. This was a snap. A ton of work, but almost zero thinking involved











Should be pretty smooth sailing from here. I think I'm actually going to use the original SP R & L buttons. The fit the contour of the back of the GB really well, it's just a matter of modding them and the case.

The Micro faceplate does look fantastic. For myself, the only time I would take it off would be to replace a damaged one. No problems there! Let us know how the progress goes. You do amazing work as always.

Thanks!  I just have to nail down the price. The prototype came with an order of 200 other badges that I had made up for a local tuner friend of mine, and a few others for another guy.  I know what all those items cost me, but the remainder of the cost was shipping and the faceplate, so I'll have to talk to him to get an exact figure. He's on vaca in Jamaica right now, but I'll be in touch with him as soon as he gets back and THEN I'll actually having pricing.

Wiggy, is there an off-switch to your awesomeness, or do you just keep going 24/7? 

Honestly, I do sometimes just go go go for days on end. I actually didn't sleep at all tonight. Just worked on the GB all night

@Deadpool - they didn't make a red GBC (in this country at least), so that is very, very likely gonna be the berry color.


Finished up the adapter. Some glue, body filler, paint and a bit of work.  Now I just gotta finish the stupid GB
