It's just a Genesis 3, nothing fancy. Although I do plan to S-vid mod it.

I would like to make a Neptune, but using a gen 1 Genesis and CD seems like a PITA, so I'll wait until I eventually pick up a Genesis/CD 2 :)

I have a couple spare model 2's.  ;)

Ifi was ever to do that mod i would combine a CDX & a 32X. That way i wouldn't have to deal with that weird bulge at the disc tray.

You trying to get a Gen/CD combo, or do you just want the CD itself?

Bah, that would be the easy way out. Where's the fun in that? ;)

Also, do both of those for sure have 32X compatibility?

using a CDX board and a 32X would be sweet in a case like that, but ONLY if i could swap out the top loading disc assembly for some kind of slot loading, trayless cd drive, ike this:

http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?p=DL-8A4SH&c=fr&pid=d19bff9d856b5b71e907844a2d10fa611ee5bedb5f461f9e5e864161fffed0a6&gclid=CKuHqO2n3bECFcHsKgodqHUA9w

i don't even know if that would work, but in my mind, it works, and it's beautiful.   :-*

TG-16 games in a DS case?? Great idea! ... but maybe I should stick with the 8-disc poly cases considering I just ordered 100... :'(
