Had about 350 NES games before college.  Sold em all to help pay for, well, college stuff.  Wasn't fun watching all that stuff go  :-\

It's been working well for me so far ;D

It doesn't bond the two plastics as well as it would with two like materials or softer plastics, but it holds em tight enough to get the job done ;)

I  literally ran out of room this past weekend. I still plan on the total shelving overhaul, but this should help me get along until then.

Here's what it looked like a month ago or so

Bye old oddball shelves and goofy storage area

New, big-ass slide out controller drawer. Just needs some dividers

New, shorter shelves so I can actually fit all of my consoles that aren't hooked up without having to pile them on top of each other.

Just gotta build 2 more shelves tomorrow and it'll be good to go!

Looking good, i love the unpainted wood.

I want to build my own shelves, the ones I have are completely impractical for the most part. I have 2 shelves like this:
______
|_|_|_|
|_|_|_|
|_|_|_|
I use one of them for my DVD cases and some of my conlses, but the cubes are not wide enough to fit around half of them. A N64 or PS1 barely fits. I only have a drawer thing where I can stack the rest, and its a pile of 5 or 6 normal. Each cube are around a foot tall so there is a lot of wasted space above the cases, they do fit 3DO long boxes well though.

Like Shenske said, just to have it in all of its awesomeness!  It is entirely useless though. Buuut, according to a fellow on Digitpress, some folks are working on making it useful. Don't know specifics, but it sounded interesting. If they do, I'll be happy I own one. Well, happier than I am with owning one right now :P

I know Lingur has one up on eBay  right now for the low, low price of $1,234.56. It's in retail packaging, über McRare. Plus a whole mess of carts as well.

edit:

All done!

Most of the controllers fit in the big-ass drawer.

The stuff that rarely gets used ended up in this little bench thing that nobody ever sits on LOL!

That frees up a little space elsewhere, albeit not much. I think I'll be packed full again by the fall to be honest.
