Do SNES buttons fit in an NES controller? In any case, I'd like to recreate this someday:

I'd take a set or two if you are selling them here.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I’ll take a good look through the bags and make sure they’re all viable. Casting parts is an art moreso than a science. I’ll let you all know.

They don’t. But original Gameboy buttons do, and I believe that you can buy those in a number of colors via various sites/companies.

Above is not the update I was looking for.
I was hopeful that Wiggy had come up with a price for the candy SNES buttons.

I was frustrated by the inability to keep my PS VR titles easily identified without simply segregating them from the rest of my PS4 collection.  The fact that there are several titles which are VR “enhanced” made the problem even more pronounced.

So I made some simple labels to identify them.

They’re printed on vinyl and then laminated. So they can be removed (relatively) easily later on if need be :)

Very nice.  Sony's VR "labeling" on the spine has been inconsistent and not very helpful.

Very nice.  Do you just tuck them in the plastic or how do you adhere them to the case (inside, outside?)  Would like to make/buy a set for my VR games eventually if you make them available.

Atari (All systems,) Nintendo (All Systems,) Sega (All Systems,) 3DO, CDi, TG-16, Xbox, PS1,2,3, INTV

thanks!  Yeah, leave it to Sony to have terribly inconsistent labeling.  The little spec info boxes on the back are all over the place.  It's like they provided no template to publishers.

They're adhesive-backed labels.  I stick them to the outer sleeve itself.  That's why I used vinyl versus paper - so they can be easily removed without leaving a terrible mess to cleanup  ;)

I don't plan on selling them to the general public (just not worth the hassle IMO), but I'll gladly take care of peeps here on TCP.

They’re on my desk waiting to be sorted. Just got a million things on my plate at the moment.  But they’re not going anywhere, don’t worry.

We’re also just about to make a new snes button mold tomorrow actually. Since we’re doing some custom wireless snes controllers, we need a fresh mold, as our old one only allows for 4 sets at a time, and is pretty well last its prime anyway.

I recently noticed that these old home improvement books share something in common with my nes collection...

I’ve had those books for nearly 20 years. I honestly have no idea whether or not they influenced my NES cover design or not, but they do have a striking resemblance.

Just though that was an interesting tidbit.

Holy cow, my parents had the majority of that book collection... it was one of many collections that Time-Life Books sold over the years, using that tried and true scam, err method of selling you the first book cheap, then automatically send (and bill) you the next book in the series at a ridiculous price until you either have them all, or you beg and plead for them to stop, lol! It was all the rage in the late 70's and 80's.

Hmm, I think I just dated myself...  :P

ROFL!  Right up there with Encyclopedia Britanica :P

Luckily I got them all at a garage sale about 15-20 years ago for next to nothing :D
