Gameboy micro display case 3.0. Don't ask. I can't really say why I feel the need to keep updating this thing, but I'm seriously hoping that I don't decide to change it again at some point. Now off to build a DSi XL/LL display case...

I had a very closely trimmed beard from age 16 to about 3-4 years ago, which was mostly because I have sensitive skin, and using an actual razor caused a ton of irritation and ingrown hairs. A few years ago my clipper broke and I just didn't get around to replacing it, so I ended up growing it out. My wife really liked it, so I just kept it long

Thanks guys!  Now I need to rebuild the NGPC display to match.  I also need to design/build a DSi XL display since that set is done (at least as best I can tell, minus extremely rare giveaway/prize units that I don't expect to ever find or be able to afford).

lol, yeah.  I used to be a bigger star wars collector and have a focus on Zuckuss.  Sorry to hijack thread.

I KNEW I recognized that color blue on the cards. I always remember thinking it was a very unique shade that I'd never seen used before

Nothing too exciting for me. Just gave my old legend of link cart a shell upgrade, and made a copy of this Zelda 2 ROM hack. A friend sent some empty official Zelda shells (no idea why he had empty Zelda shells) about a year ago, so I’m finally putting them to use.









The gray 8bitdo wireless receiver looked out of place, so I made a clear one to match




I’m not in love with how this clear SNT looks. So I drew up the veneer so that I can replace it with something more interesting. Don’t know exactly what yet though...

Removed the transparent veneer from the SNT, polished the entire thing so that it looks more like the renderings that were used to sell it, added mohogany veneer. I’m pretty happy with it. Might eventually go back and give it a little polish on the inside so that’s it’s absolutely crystal clear.

Would you please tell me how you polish plastic to look clear?

Wet sanded it with 400 then 800 grit, then took it to a polishing wheel using medium, and then fine cut polishs. Essentially the same way that one would polish most anything.  Tedious and time-consuming work.
