I finally got all my handhelds in a slim dvd stand and it looks great! --- End quote --- OK, so they technically fit, but there's a hint of bulge. With that in mind, I couldn't make a part which would allow them to snap into place. I could only make a piece that would keep it from wiggling around in the cavity meant for GB games. A simple laser cut insert would do the job. Keep in mind that there's NO room for a manual in there if you store the games with the little clear clamshell cases. |

Well this was extremely satisfying. About 5-6 years ago I traded with N64guy for the silver Panasonic Q console. It had shattered DVD tray rails (like so many others, including the orange one right next to it), which I painstakingly glued back together in order to take measurements so that I could reverse engineer them. I did indeed create CAD models for both rails and printed several of them on my old Replicator 2. Getting a set of good, non-warped parts (which ain't easy when using FDM printers) took some time. I finally did get a decent set, but the problem wasn't 100% fixed. Later on I acquired a second broken unit, which obviously got a bit of a makeover. This of course got me motivated to get them back to 100% working order. Turns out the drive belts were the other problem. Found a suitable replacement part and now both are working perfectly, each with a set of printed rails (the silver has an old set of FDM prints, and the Orange had a set from our Form2 SLA printer). Next up I'll be making a blue unit for a friend and long-time customer :) |

I miss mine. I stupidly broke it while trying to mod the Cube part of it for US games. I think I got mad and ended up throwing it in the trash. This was when the system first came out and I got it from a friend who was living in Japan at the time. |

I finally picked up my first NGPC with 6 games and I'd love to be able to box them up on a shelf |
