Holy Crap!

Nice, know the area well, ex's cousin lived up there and I used to be attached to an army unit up there in Twinsburg across from the old auto plant. I'll definitely have to go get my order up there, and if you're getting those white cases that might make me order sooner lol. Get some Pulp while I'm there too, the guy that franchises that one used to give me half off, can't get that at any other outlet lol, been a few years since I've been there tho, probably doesn't remember me.
And yea, stone age is in the area too, not 20 minutes close but if we ever got ShadowFox to move up to like the falls or something I could just pick up everything I need for retro gaming and never mail anything lol.
The more I've been all over the place the more I think it's a really small world lol
Neat light up by the way, I know it's probably way late to say it but you got a real knack for this stuff lol. I prefer handhelds over consoles anyway so probably why your store caught my eye

Yup. It's a little trick using the laser cutter. Cut the cartridge shell, a piece of acrylic to place behind the hole I cut in the cart shell, cut and affix the Zelda letters, then cut/etch and apply the gold label.

I'm down in Akron and some day in the next few months would love to get some of the display stands (once I build a room to display them in lol) and if you're "local" enough I may just pick them up. Just like with the everdrive's the guy I buy from is in Ohio too, who knew lol

Hey Wiggy, where did you or how did you develop the plans for your in-wall shelving? I'm thinking about making something similar in the extra space of my garage/workshop and need some tips.

I drew up a model in Solidworks, which was WAY more than what was required to do the job. I just wanted to be able to render it and place it in a photo of my basement as a preview :P
Honestly I used 1x6" for the entire structure save for a 1/4" plywood back. I used shelf railing and clips like these in order to have a modular system. The entire thing was put together with wood screws using butt joints. I finished the front with some 1x2" and 1x8" ( it needed a clean finish around the edges since it was built in to the wall). I think the whole thing took me about 2 days to build, and then another to install, cleanup, etc.

did you rout slots for the brackets?
